Before Caia could leave for school, Betty met her in the hallway. "Caia," She called, causing the girl to turn around

Caia stopped and allowed for her friend to catch up. "What's up?"

"Later today, we're having a meeting with a bunch of girls to expose Chuck," Betty explained, playing with a small bracelet on her wrist. "I know what happened to you last year, and I was wondering if you wanted to go on the record," Betty's voice peaked with hopefulness as she brought her request to Caia. She really needed her story.

Caia considered the pros and cons. She did want to ruin Chuck and she had vowed she would, but she didn't want to have people thinking she wasn't as wholesome as she was. In the end, the pros won out over the cons. "Okay," she agreed.

Betty's eyes widened. She couldn't believe Caia had actually agreed! "The girls won't be coming for a while, so I can get your story before everyone comes."

"Okay," Caia agreed. "I'll feel better if 20 girls aren't watching me as I explain." Caia smiled and followed Betty down the mostly empty corridor.

Caia and Betty trudged down the hall and into the Blue and Gold classroom. Betty flipped on the light. She took a seat on the table. Caia sat next to her.

Betty rummaged through some books in her bag and pulled a notebook out. She grabbed a pencil from a small pencil pouch and got ready to write.

"Okay, let's get this out of the way," Betty suggested, flipping open to the next clean page in her notebook. "What exactly happened between you and Chuck?" She questioned.

Caia sighed. "Chuck asked me out at the beginning of Freshman year. I said yes, and he took me on a few dates. On those dates, I realized that he was totally bland and although we weren't dating, I broke up with him." She took another deep breath. "A day after I broke it off, Chuck went around telling everybody he broke up with me because I was horrible in bed. Just to calrify, we never even kissed. It was awful."

Betty's pencil moved wildly as she wrote down what Caia had just said. A few seconds passed before she spoke again. "Okay, that's good." She set her pencil and notebook next to her and turned her gaze back to Caia. "Now, I want to know the scoop on you and Reggie. Because there is no way you two are just friends. I saw that wink he gave you the other morning." Betty smirked. Caia felt her face become hot as she blushed fiercly.

"Okay," Caia started. "We have something." She explained. "I just don't know what. We've kissed a couple times and he sneaked into my room last night, but we haven't really talked about what we are. It kinda bothers me, but I don't want to bring it up and seem pushy. I mean, it's only been a couple days." Betty listened intently to every word Caia said.

"I mean, I think that's fine for now, but I wouldn't wait super long," Betty explained, remembering her experience with Archie. "I silently pined after Archie for so many years, and not knowing if he liked me or not got my hopes up. When I found he didn't like me, it broke my heart. I don't want that to happen to you." Caia took Betty's thoughtful advice to heart. She was speaking from experience, and truthfully at that.

Caia smiled at Betty. "Thanks Betty. I'm glad we're friends again."

Betty nodded and beamed back. "I'm glad, too."

Soon after the two finished their conversation, girls started streaming into the room. Everyone was there, but one was still missing. Everyone began to become antsy they waited for Veronica to arrive to start the meeting to destroy Chuck. Betty claimed she had called Veronica, but she was taking a while to show up.

"Okay, if Veronica doesn't show up soon, we'll have to start the meeting without her," Betty said. "Anyone care to recount their story?"

Elthel began to speak, but before she could say anything, Veronica walked through the door.
