The rest of the week was the best a week could possibly be. After that kiss in the forest, happiness stuck to him like a brilliant idea would stick to someones mind. He loved seeing Becca nearly every week, but one thing was about to change. Something terrible was soon to happen. Something that Mark wouldn't be able to handle, and that feeling, that he would get when he was around Becca, would grow faster inside him than a heart beats, joined along with a great deal of pain. If only Mark would have known ahead of time.
When Mark went to school on Monday, something was different. Becca wasn't there, but it wasn't like before. Alica refused to talk about what she seemed sad and angry about. Mark could tell that something wasn't right.
