So this is another thing of me explaining things.

This is about how and why the Janitor saves Six and what this all has to do with Five.

I will not be putting this all so clearly in the story because explaining through dialogue is really annoying. Plus it adds to the drama and stuff.

. . .

So here is the story, it is very choppy so think of it as bullet points that work chronologically

. . .

The Janitor is a huge sweetheart, unlike the chefs who actually want to do their jobs (for reasons unknown) he only wants to give the children humane treatment, so he raises them well.

Five used to have a lot of staff, but they all died off, from Five's husband or disobedience.

The Janitor took the job of childcare from his predecessor, who was fired around when Six was born.

His predecessor had sent lots of kids to be cooked, and so there is a huge pile up in the kitchen.

The Janitor realizes this and knows he doesn't have to send up any kids.

The chefs and the Lady don't notice, but Five does.

The Lady's eyes are evrywhere, so he still has to follow the rules (strikes and stuff).

He starts feeding the kids the bare minimum, in order to make sure the Lady can see that the kids aren't big enough to be sent away.

He takes a special liking in Seven, who he feels is good of heart.

He and the chefs are the only staff left and the Granny lives in the basement for some reason.

The Lady, is prone to being jealous, which Five knows, however she doesn't know that her husband magically escalated her envy of Six.

(I hope this all makes sense so far)

Five tries to protect her daughter, but realized it's really hard for her. (Because of her evil dead hubby)

Five learns that she can send Six to the Janitor for him to take care of her, so she doesn't hurt Six. She trusts him because she understands what he is trying to do, and appreciates it.

The Janitor takes care of Six, and is noted to always complain about his job to her.

Five learns she can enter people's dreams and talk to them.

She saves up her power and tells the Janitor what's going on. They make a plan, without the Lady knowing.

He is a super understanding lil babe and agrees to help her.

He prepares a room where there are no evil eyes where Six can live.

He makes sure there are a lot of supplies. He also realizes he will have to be really careful when he brings food to Six.

Luckily Seven ends up doing this for him, making them less likely to be caught by the Lady.

Five makes the Lady think she has won, letting her package Six in a suitcase to be thrown out to sea.

The Janitor is sent to dispose of the suitcase, as planned.

He puts on a convincing act, in case anyone was listening.

Seven was, and because of that was convinced that he has to hide Six from the Janitor

The Janitor learns what Seven is doing, and supports him. He thinks that it is good for both of them to be friends.

(He also ends up shipping them)

Five learns that the Lady knows Six is still alive and aboard the Maw.

She is able to prevent her from finding out that she and the Janitor helped Six.

The Lady wants whoever is helping Six dead, so the Janitor is worried about Seven.

. . .

This is what is basically going to be explained to Six and Seven in future chapters.

It will be explained little by little in likely confusing ways. This way Six and Seven have to work together to set the story straight.

I'm only explaining this so it hopefully makes more sense and stuff in future chapters.

This way there'll be more time for fluff!

. . .

Also, I am going to start a mini-series of one shots in this book called "What Could've Been"

They are basically going to be remakes of chapters where Six and Seven get together/realize their feelings, before they are supposed to in my storyline.

I will likely be publishing one later today, as both chapters today have been short, plus I have a lot of time.

. . .

Word Count: 767

Published: 6/14/18

Anyways, I'm going to go eat now.

Hope you have a great day!

Lots of Love,

Raven
