An alteration of The Kitchen.
What Could've Been if the Chef didn't wake up Seven.
Prepare for fluff.
Seven's POV
Making sure to move slowly, I lift her onto me so that she is no longer touching the floor.
We could probably sleep a little longer
. . .
"Seven?"
I felt myself emerge from the void of dream-less sleep, finally aware of myself.
Just... Not exactly awake.
"Seven?"
Six... Six needed me.
I tried to open my eyes, finding I couldn't though, as if my eyelids weighed a million pounds.
I just - couldn't.
"Seeeeeeeee-ven."
Her melodic voice ring in my ears, the wonderful sound almost pulling me back to sleep.
The familiar tones of her honey-rich voice renewed my vigor to wake up.
For her!
I fought my eyelids, trying to open my eyes. They were super heavy - but I was persistent.
In the end, even with full effort, they were just half lidded. and even then, they kept fluttering shut every few seconds.
Just five more minutes Six!
"There you are-" I could hardly see her, just listening to her gentle voice coo in my ear, "hey sleepyhead!"
I tried to respond, to form a coherent response.
To no avail,
I let out a groan, followed by an incoherent mumble.
Her bubbly voice giggled in my ear, and I managed to open an eye, her face blurry, but clearly close to mine.
I felt myself smile at the thought.
This earned me another giggle.
I let out another groan in response.
"C'mon Sev! How come you're more sleepy than me?"
I lazily rolled my eyes, which she couldn't really see.
"You didn't even have to deal with being cold all night!"
I frowned internally, she was low-key playing the guilt card. And for what, waking me up early? I think not!
That was a low blow.
I could not let her get away with this.
Gathering up the most imploring look I could manage I weakly opened my eyes.
"Six," I croaked, making sure to sound pitiful, "I need more sleep!" I hugged her closer, letting my eyelids drop again.
Her sharp inhale informed me that I had succeeded. I smiled, I had just won.
Her face was a lot closer to mine than I had originally thought, if I just leaned a little forward...
I pushed away the thought, instead focusing on the butterflies raging in my stomach, the divine flutter from having her this close.
The intoxicating scent of her hair.
The wonderful feeling of holding her this close.
Calling this experience celestial would be selling it short.
This felt so... Perfect.
More than words could describe.
This felt like every other morning... I am truly blessed.
"Five more minutes Six..."
She exhaled, likely becoming a bit less flustered.
I felt her face find the crook of my neck, but not before leaving a chaste kiss on my cheek.
"Make it ten."
I gave a dopey smile, not even bothering to open my eyes.
I didn't even care about my probably-very-prominent blush. I couldn't be bothered to be embarrassed about it.
Everything was right with the world,
She is my world.

Hey Guys!
It's been awhile since I've done one of these so I thought I'd do another. It helps me unload all of my ideas for the story that just can't happen in the story yet.
It is currently 12:30 a.m.
I had fun writing this, at least my insomnia has some purpose.
Anyway, I'm going to try and get some sleep in before tomorrow. I will hopefully get another regular chapter out tomorrow - well, today.
Hope you have a great day!
Lots of Love,
Raven
