The next day I wake up and don't see cameron next to me. I lay there thinking about yesterday and how Emma said she was going to have all of this someday, which of course I didn't care. I get up and decide to put on a green dress and I look at the window again, wondering why Christopher has not came for me yet. I take a deep breath and I knew I had to be patient for everything he was probably going to plan out. Cameron comes inside the room and I quickly get up and look at him. "Hey Elizabeth, breakfast is ready downstairs." He said looking at me and my dress. "Okay." I say walking to the door. We head down to the table and I see the whole family already eating. "Morning everyone." I say sitting down next to Alice and smiling at her. "Good morning Elizabeth." Alice says and Gabriel smiles at me. I eat breakfast with everyone. We talk and I can see Jennifer getting annoyed and gets up and heads out. Everyone left and it was only Cameron and I. ""Does your mom not like me?" I say looking at Cameron as he sips on his coffee. "I'm pretty she does, just give her time." He says putting his coffee down. "I have and no matter what I do she looks at me like we were enemies before or something. I don't think she ever will, everyone in this family does besides her." I say getting up. He looks at me getting up as I walk around the table. "So the school idea about yesterday is out there, and the people from the construction was okay with it." He says smiling at me. I was so happy for this, probably the best news I have ever had in a while. "I'm so happy Cameron, this will make them happy." I say when I see Cameron looking behind me. I turn around and I see my father. "Elizabeth, my sweet girl." He says smiling. "I'll let you guys talk I have things to do and I'll be in my office Elizabeth If you need anything." He says getting up and leaving. I look at him as he leaves and I look at my father and I walk past him. "What are you doing here?" I say walking to the living room. He follows me, "I came to see you and see how you were doing." He says looking around the house. I get angry as he said those words, plus I just get mad when I see him now. "How do you think I'm doing? Living here when I could of have finished the last semester of college. Where I could of been with the guy of my dreams." I say as my eyes start watering. "That's how I am and I hope you are happy and get all the money of the world." I say as a tear falls down my cheek. He tries to come close me and I stop him. "Dad please just don't- "Jonathan?" Says Jennifer as she's behind me feeling surprised. I turn around and see Jennifer looking at my Father like he was the love of her life or something. "Oh my god I can't believe that's you." She says as she hugs him and he hugs her back. I wipe away my tears and I look at them. "Dad you know her?" I say feeling confused and angry. She turns to look at me. "Wait this is your daughter Jonathan? I didn't know my son married your daughter." She says feeling surprised and getting way close to my father. "I remember when she was like ten years old and you Bought her in the office once, remember that? When we were together back then?" She says looking at me straight in the eyes knowing that everything she was saying was to hurt me. My father has been cheating on my mom the whole time she was alive. I close my eyes and I finally remember when I was ten and I was in my fathers office playing with my dolls and this woman came in looking just like her. She kissed my dad in front of me. I would tell my father why she was kissing him and not my mother. He lied to me and he told me that they were just acting and I believed it and I went back to my dolls. I also remember the moment where my mother and father had a argument and he left the room. She was so sad and I was twelve years old. I had asked her what happen and she made up fairly tale explanation for me to once again believe everything was okay when it wasn't. I opened my eyes and I saw my father and I turn around and I head to my room. "Elizabeth wait!" He say trying to catch me up and he stopped. I sit on the couch and look at the window. "I'm so sorry mom, you didn't deserve any of this." I say as I pull my legs closer to me and cry. After a while I stop crying and I stay in my room the whole day. I hear a knock on the door but I don't say anything at all. They open it and they sit next to me and at this point I didn't care who it was. "Elizabeth are you ok?" Said Alice with her sweet voice. "I heard your father came in and talked to you." She say getting worried about me. I finally give up and I hug Alice and cry in her arms. She reminded me of Valeria. Alice was very patient with me and she just rubbed my hair as I cried. "It's going to be okay." She said as she starts to sing a beautiful song and I just close my eyes. Cameron was about to enter the room but he stands near the door where no one could see him, listening to Alice sing and he just stayed still like he heard this song when he was little. He left and I looked at Alice. "My father cheated on my mother with Jennifer." I said looking at Alice. Looking at her face reaction I'm guessing she already knew but I couldn't blame her. She didn't Know me, she really couldn't do anything about it. "Come here." She says as she opens her arms and I hug her. "Your mother is in a better place and she probably wants the best for you." She says as I look at her. "What is the best thing for me Alice? The man I love is not even here. I had to break it off with him and I left everything I loved behind. My whole life." I said feeling guilty because she was only trying to comfort me. "I'm sorry Alice I didn't mean for any of this. I just need to rest." I say giving her a kiss on the cheek and heading to the bathroom. She gets up and goes to see Jennifer in her bedroom. She opens the door and sees Jennifer half naked. "Could you a least knock Alice?" She says trying to find her robe. Alice closes the door and looks at Jennifer. "I can not believe you would tell Elizabeth about the affair you had with her father! You should be ashamed of yourself." She says getting angry. "So what? She deserves to know and I didn't mean it, it just came out." She says as she sits down in front of her mirror and brushes her hair and looks at Alice thought the mirror. "Bullshit." Says Alice. "You wanted her to know didn't you? You know someday the truth will come out Jennifer and you will lose everything." Alice says as she looks at Jennifer looking worried through the mirror and she gets up. "You better not say anything Alice." She says as she points the brush to Alice. Gabriel comes through the door and looks at Alice and Jennifer. "The truth about what?" He says looking at his mother. "Ill let you and your mother talk." Alice says as she walks out the room and shutting it. "The truth about what mother? Huh?" He says crossing his arms. Jennifer goes back and sits down and continues to Brush her hair. "Oh nothing Gabriel, don't worry about it." She hums and brushes her hair. "I'm not leaving until I know what's going on." He says being serious. Jennifer stops and puts the brush down and gets up. "Look Gabriel that truth was um, that your brother Cameron and his wife Elizabeth had to get married because of a contract." She says feeling relieved that she thought of something quickly. Knowing that he didn't know about it yet. "What? My brother really did that to Elizabeth?" He says sitting on the bed. "It has nothing to do with him, it was all Elizabeths fathers fault honey." She says sitting near Gabriel on the bed. '"Your father had nothing to do this. Elizabeth agreed to marry the most handsome and wealthiest man in the world and she chose Cameron." She says trying to get Gabriel to dislike Elizabeth. Gabriel gets up and shakes his head. "Wow I thought she was actually nice and sweet, but it seems that it was just a plan to get my brothers money." Said Gabriel thinking about it and then trying to think why she kept asking so many questions about what's on the other side of town. "She was Also trying to escape. She kept asking me all these questions about what's on the other side of town." He says getting his brain washed by his mother. "You see honey, shes not a good person. Why do you think I don't like her." She says smiling as Gabriel as he wasn't looking. "I have to go mother, goodnight." He says leaving the room. "Have a goodnight sweetheart." She says smiling and closing her door. "That was close." She says.
