What Life Robbed Me

Chapter 14

Emma

I wake up feeling like the happiest woman alive, knowing that those lands were going to be mine today. I put on a white tight dress and my hair up, going to Cameron's house. I call Luke to tell him the plan. I hang up and smile as I'm heading up the stairs. I head in taking off my sunglasses off and see no one in the house. I head upstairs to head to Gabriel's room but before I head to his room, I head to Elizabeth's room. "Lets see if she has anything in here that I might like." I say as I open the door and go to the mirror counter and I look at the jewelry. "This is beautiful." I say as I open my purse and drop the necklace in there. I look at the earrings and I try them on. "I love these." I say as I take them off and put them in my purse. I look at the mirror and see a dress behind me. I turn around forgetting to put my own earrings back on. I walk to the pretty yellow dress and I touch it. I hear something in the hallway and I step back from the dress and hide. I wait until everything is clear and I take a deep breath. "Come on Emma, we are here for the lands." I put the things back, and head out, closing the door and walk to Gabriel's room. I see that his door is open, I walk near his door and I see him painting his wall without a shirt. Gabriel was young for me but he sure did have a nice body. I keep looking at him and then I knock on the door. "Hi Gabriel." I say giving him a nice smile as he turns around.

Elizabeth

I still can not see who that person is, I want the sun to get out of the way and so I can see who is walking towards me. I want to know who I really want to wake up to every morning near the beach. I open my eyes and I sit up looking at the waves. I see Cameron laying down on his stomach and I look at his back and I imagine myself touching it softly and kissing it. I shake my head and put my sunglasses on. I lay down again and Cameron lays on his side and looks at me. "What." I say as I close my eyes and I grab some sand, playing with it because I'm getting nervous. "Nothing." he says smiling. I smile and I turn to look at him and put my glasses on the top of my head. "Cameron." I say. "Yes?" He says grabbing my hand. I grab it back and I look at him. "How long until the school and the markets and the rest of the plan is build?" I say. "Well a couple more months and I'm pretty sure everything will be here sooner then you think." he says. "I cant wait." I say as I lay back down and put my glasses on.

Emma

"Oh hey Emma." He says as he turns back around to continue to paint. "How are you Gabriel?" I say as I look at the room as its a mess at the moment. "I'm great, what about you?" he says as he doesn't pay attention to her. "Well I'm upset because Cameron left and I was going to ask him about the lands and I couldn't because he left." I say sounding sad. He turns to look at her and puts the brush back. "Well wait until he comes back, which is in four days." He says as he fixes his jeans. I couldn't stop looking at his body, It was tasty and amazing. "I cant wait Gabriel, I need those lands before anyone else takes them. Everyone wants them." I say sounding desperate. "Well, I don't know what to tell you Emma." He says as he looks at me. I have to think quickly because it seems that he would not offer to sign it for me. I come closer to him and I grab his hand. "Would you sign them for me Gabriel?" I say as I move my hand near his stomach and start to go down. He grabs my hand and moves it. "You aren't going to trick me, Emma. Those are my brothers lands, not mine." He says turning around and paints again. I roll my eyes and start walking to the door and I stop. I realize that I always got what I wanted and Gabriel wasn't one of those guys. I just needed more time with Gabriel and maybe I could get him to sign them. "Gabriel, would you like to have dinner tomorrow?" I Said smiling. He stops painting and I wait for his response. He writes "yes" on the wall and continues painting. I smile and walk out thinking about him. As I'm heading out I hear the phone ring and no one picks it up. I keep walking and it rings a couple of times. I go to the kitchen and I pick it up, just waiting for the person on the phone to talk. "Hello, can I talk to Elizabeth?" as a guy speaks. I act like a maid and say "She isn't here, but I can leave her a message." I say. "Oh okay, tell her that I will be at her house at 9 A.M. please keep this private. he says and then hangs up. I put the phone back and walk to the living room. "I have to go to her house at the time, to see what's going on."

Elizabeth

Its dark time and we finished eating dinner. There are a lot of events during the night time and we decided to go to them. We go to the fair and we get on bunch of the rides and play games. As we get on rides, we take pictures and laugh as we eat cotton candy. We sit down and watch the hula show at the sunset on the beach. After it was over, we walked near some long flowers and Cameron grabs one and stops me. "What is it?" I say looking at him. He moves my hair behind my right ear and puts the flower there. I smile and he takes a picture of me. I hold his hand and we continue to walk. Cameron looks at lanterns and points at it. I look at him and smile, which was a sign that I wanted to let one go. We get on a small boat, and we go near all the people that are going to let go of their lantern too. I look at Cameron and smile as we both hold our lanterns. "Don't forget to make a wish." I said as I close my eyes and make it. I open it and I saw that Cameron lets his go and then looks at me. I let my go and see it go high in the sky. We watch all the lanterns up in the sky. It was the most beautiful thing I seen. We get to the hotel room and I make my way around the T.V. "My wish it was"- I stop turn around and stop him. "Cameron, don't say it." I say as I stand there looking at him. "My wish was that I hope you know I never meant to hurt you or cause any of this. I wish you were with who you really love, but I would hate that now because I'm in love with you." He says. I just stand there and I'm speechless. "Im sorry Elizabeth." He says as he turns around, walking to the door and I walk to stop him and I kiss him like I never kissed anyone before. We kiss like its the last night of our lives. We slowly took our clothes off and made passionate love all night. I thought Christopher was going to be the first man I was going to turn myself in. But this felt right, and I didn't have time to think about Chris. This moment was between Cameron and I.
