Chapter 10

Elizabeth
That same day Christopher escaped through the window, so that no one would see him. I go downstairs and see my father. "I didn't know you were here." Said my father. "Well I came here to see Valeria and the rest of the people that live here that didn't betray me." I say walking past him. "Elizabeth wait, please you can't hate me all your life." He says feeling upset. I turn around and look at him. "I don't hate you, I just don't know who you are anymore." I say waking outside and meeting up with Valeria. We get inside the car and we head back to my place.

Cameron
I head inside the building and head to the meeting room. The meeting finishes and the only person left is Emma. I can see her looking at me as I'm looking at some papers. "What is it Emma?" I ask. She stands up and she walks behind me putting her hand on my shoulders. "You look like you need some time to relax, has Elizabeth not been taking care of you?" She says as she gives me a message. I get up and gather all the paperwork. "Everything is fine, and Elizabeth doesn't have anything to do this this." I say getting annoyed by her. She walks on the other side of the table and looks at me. "What are you going to Do with the lands?" She said. He heads to the door and looks at Emma one more time. "Don't worry I already told Luke that I wasn't planning to sell them." Cameron says as he leaves the office. As the door shuts Emma hits the table and grabs her purse.

Elizabeth
"Wow this house is beautiful Elizabeth." Valeria says as she walks with Elizabeth inside. "Trust me it is, the garden is beautiful and they have lovely horses here." I said as I smile at her. We head inside and we unpack her things in the guest room. I give her a tour of the whole house and I tell her where the things are. As we are walking around the hallways we see Alice. I present them both and they instantly became friends. Valeria took her to the Garden as she talked and laugh together. I smiled as I saw them both leave. As I turn around I see Gabriel walking by and we both look at each other for four seconds. He walks away and I walk after him. "So are we going to act like strangers now?" I said looking at him and he stops and tuns around. "I don't want to talk to you ever again Elizabeth, I thought you were different and I guess I was wrong." I look at him and the way he gets mad. "You are wrong Gabriel, very wrong." I say looking at him. He shakes his head and walks away. I felt sad that he didn't believe me and I thought we were close. I walk outside where the horses are at and I pet them gently. "I think they like you." Cameron says as he pets the horse gently. I smile at him and see the horse that I'm gently petting. "Thats angel, because shes beautiful and white." He says as he comes close to me and angel. "Ya she is." I said getting nervous as Cameron puts his hand on mine. "Would you like to take her on a ride with me?" He said smiling at me. I look at him and blush a bit. "That sounds fun, but- "Come on, I promise you wont regret it." He says smiling. I look at angel and then at Cameron. "fine, lets go." I said getting nervous since I never been on a horse before. Cameron helps me up and he gets on sitting in front of me. Angel takes us to the beautiful forest. It was filled with green trees, small mountains, and flowers. "I use to come here all the time when I was a little kid." Cameron says as he smiles and looks around. I look at him, and I can tell that he knew this place by heart and he was in love with it. "Its very beautiful." I say as I smile at him and keep looking around. Cameron finds a spot to stop angel and he gets off and he helps me get off. "Where are we?" I say looking at Cameron. He grabs my hand and takes me. "Just trust me." He says as he continues to walk. I could hear the birds chirping and water falling. He stands there looking at it and I look at it as well. "Wow, it's really beautiful." I say as I close my eyes for a bit. we head down the hill and we sit down on some rocks. "I like coming here and I love listening to the waterfall, it calms me down." He says as he smiles at me. "I would understand why, this place is so calming and so peaceful. I would come here everyday if I could." I say as I feel his hand on mine. I look at him and he looks at me, coming in slowly and kissing me softly. I kissed him back softly for a couple of seconds and then I backed up a bit and stood up. "I think we should head back Cameron." I say as I pull my hair behind my ear. He sits there for a while and then stands up. "Ya lets head back." He smiles a bit and then walks to the horse. He helps me get up and then he climbs on and we leave. We were quiet the whole way and we got back to the house. He helped me get off and he put Angel away. I just stood there and I decided to walk away instead. I went back inside and I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss. The way he kisses is the way he will do everything. I see Valeria and we sit down on the couch and she would be talking about something. I would space out and just think about Cameron and that kiss. Could it be that Cameron really felt something for me? Could it be that he only wanted to sleep with me? That night everyone went to bed and I sat in front of the mirror and looked at the door. Was he going to come and sleep in here with me tonight? I put the brush down, turn the lights off, and lay down on the bed and look at his side and touch it slowly. Could it be that I feel something for Cameron?
