Chapter 13

Elizabeth

I wake up and I don't see Cameron next to me. I put on my white robe and walk outside to the balcony. I feel the breeze and I listen to the waves. I smile and I head back inside and sit on the bed. I hear the door open and I turn my head and I see Cameron. "Hey, breakfast is on its way." He says closing the door and sitting next to me. I smile and I look at him and he smiles at me as he grabs my hand. "I never wanted t-" he stops talking as we hear a knock at the door. "You can tell me later." I said going to the balcony and I sit down at the table that was outside. Cameron takes the cart in, and takes it outside. I help him put it on the table, I begin to eat my hotcakes and I take a sip of my orange juice. "I have always wanted to eat breakfast near the beach." I say as I take another bite of my hotcakes. "Well we can always move here." Cameron chuckles as he says that. I look at the beach and I imagine myself here, going to the beach everyday, eating breakfast here, and being happy. I can also see myself standing near the water with my toes in the sand. I can hear his voice behind me and I turn around but I cant see who it is because the sun is in the way. "Elizabeth?" Cameron says as he looks at me. "Huh?" I say looking at him. "I said if you wanted to get on a boat today?" He says smiling and I smile. "Of course, I want too." I said as I finish up and put everything back in the cart. I head inside and go to the bathroom. I put my two piece bikini on, putting on a loose white shirt and jean shorts. I put my hair in a braid and put my sun hat on. I head out and I see Cameron getting ready. We head out to the beach boat rental area. After a while they have our boat ready and we get on. I sit down and look at the beautiful view. Cameron drives the boat and I can feel that he is watching me. I take out my sunscreen and I stand up taking off my shirt and shorts. I put my sunscreen on and I put it back. I head over to the small bar and prepare myself and Cameron a drink. "Here you go." I say as I hand him the drink. "Thanks." He says as he grabs it. I see him being very focus and I look at his sexy back and strong arms. "So where are we going captain?" I say as I take a sip of my drink. "Just out there, I never plan I just do it and go far." He says confidently. "I like that." I say as I sit down and look at the water and I could start seeing fish. "Want to drive it?" He says looking at me. I look at him and smile. "I'm going to crash." I say laughing. "No you wont, come here I'll show you." He says getting up and I slowly get up and sit down. He teaches me several ways and we start laughing and I finally learn. "I'm driving the boat, oh my gosh." I say getting excited. He takes out his Camera out and takes pictures of me. "Make sure I look good." I say as I continue to drive the boat and pose. We both laugh and take pictures of each other and the view in front of us. We stop the boat and we both sit down in front of each other and we sip on our drinks. "Why does Alice care about you a lot?" I say as I look at him. "She has been there since I was a baby and loved me like if I was her son." He says looking at the beach and then at me. "Did she never got married or had any kids?" I say wanting to know more. "She was with this man, but I'm not sure if she was married. She did have a kid, but he died, she didn't tell me much. I guess she doesn't like to talk about it." He says taking a last sip of his drink. "Oh I see" I say looking at the sunset. "Should we start going back?" I say as I grab our drinks and put them away. He gets up and sits down to start driving. I make sure we leave the boat as clean as we first got it. Cameron stops the boat and I turn around and he gets up, puts on a life jacket and goes to the tip of the boat. "We need to get in the water." He says as he is holding my life jacket and I go up to the tip of the boat and put it on. We jump and we laugh we swim around for a bit and we float for while. We get back on the boat, take our life jacket off. Cameron finally starts driving the boat and I stand next to him. "The boat is as clean as-" the boat moves and I almost fall as Cameron grabs me and I sit on his lap. "Are you okay?" He says as he looks at me and smiles. "Ya." I Said smiling as well. We both laugh and we get quiet for bit and he comes near my lips and we kiss softly. My world stops for a minute and I look at him and I just don't say anything. I stay where I am, laying my head on his collar bone as he drives us back to the boat rental.
