For me, everything has a reason. So yeah, Harmony does have a reason for why she acts so... ugh. But you'll discover this later on.

Chapter 5: Changes and Signs

I honestly couldn't bring myself to look remotely decent for this man. It made no sense for me to put effort into my appearance to please him. So, instead of wearing one of my knee-length body-con dresses, I decided to wear loose fitted jeans, that still hugged my body, unfortunately. Along with that, I wore a plain white t-shirt and white flats. As for my hair, I pulled it into a messy bun, not bothering to care for the numerous curls that hung out of the bun.

As I was putting on deodorant, my cell phone rang. I checked the caller ID, ensuring that it wasn't Rein. I never gave him my number, but I'm sure my parents did.

Luckily, it wasn't him. It was Stacy!

I silently squealed before answering the call. "Hello," I answered.

"Good evening, baby," he greeted in a tired voice. I ignored the ache between my thighs as his raspy voice mentally caressed me.

"You sound like you just got up," I observed as I stared at my nails.

"Yeah, just got up from a nap. But guess who I thought of when I opened my eyes," he questioned.

"Who," I asked, not bothering to guess.

"You," he said sensuously.

If I could, I would have melted right there. His voice was like... sex. Great, amazing, mind-blowing, passionate sex. The kind that makes you never want to stop pleasuring your partner and never wanting your partner to stop pleasuring you. That's how I felt about Stacy's voice. I never wanted Stacy to stop talking to me and I never wanted to stop talking to Stacy.

"Harp," I heard his lustful voice whisper.

"Yes, Ace," I said with a slight start.

"I miss you already," he said before releasing a yawn.

"I miss you, too," I said, feeling a heavy blush display itself on my cheeks.

"What do you miss about me," he inquired.

"Everything," I replied. "I miss hanging with you, swimming with you, eating out," I gave a brief list of our activities together, excluding things that related to how attractive he was. In other words, I hadn't exactly answered his question.

"Well, I miss your voice, your smile, because I always get to see that cute dimple in your right cheek, the way you snort when you laugh, and those perfectly shaped legs. I miss it all," he said.

I hadn't even realized how wet I was getting, or how hard my nipples were becoming, or that my hand was sliding up my chest and cupping my breasts.

"So is swimming and eating out with me the only few things you miss about Ace," he asked amusedly, speaking in third person.

"No," I unintentionally moaned out.

"I hope I can make you moan like that."

I was abruptly startled by the third accented voice, causing me to yelp into the phone's speaker. I turned around to see Rein leaned against my door's frame with his hands in his blazer's pockets.

"Harmony," Ace said concernedly over the phone.

"I have to--"

"Oh don't mind me. Finish your conversation, because surely it will be your last one with whoever the fuck that is," he said casually as he stepped completely into my room.
