~ Sage Preston's POV ~
"Sage are you- You're never up this early" May frowned as she opened my bedroom door.
"Yeah- I fell asleep during the episode where Rachel goes to the airport to tell Ross about her feelings and then I fell asleep so I had to wake up to see what happened" I explained.
"Sage. You've watched Friends a dozen times already. You know what happens" May snorted.
"Shut up" I shut my laptop and stand up.
"You're not dressed!" May groaned and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes I am. See" I gesture to my outfit.
"That's what you wore to bed" May cringed.
"So?"
"Oh my god" May rolled her eyes. "I'm gonna be in the car"
"Whatever. I'm getting breakfast first" I shrugged.
I slipped on my nike slippers and ran my fingers through my hair and descended to the kitchen.
"Good morning little sister" Eric grinned at me.
"Why are you here?" I raised my eyebrow while grabbing some bacon.
"I can't visit home?"
"You've been here since Friday" I snorted. "Don't you work?"
"I quit" Eric shrugged.
"Um excuse me- what?" I took a sip of orange juice.
"I didn't want to work there" Eric shrugged.
"Eric. You have a family to support. You can't just quit your job because you feel like it" I sighed.
"So what? I'm supposed to be unhappy for the rest of my career?" Eric crossed his arms.
"No. You just can't quit your job without knowing what you're gonna do next" I snort. "I haven't even graduated high school yet and I know that"
"Shut up" Eric snorted. "Marilyn makes enough to support us until I find my next job. It won't be long"
"Okay but- God I gotta go" I rolled my eyes as May honks the horn.
"Love ya!" Eric calls and I mumble a response.
I run down the pathway and across the street to where I parked my truck.
"Can you not break my car horn?" I glare at May in the passenger seat.
"I have cheer practice, which I planned, in 15 minutes and we still need to pick up Charlie, Mick and Piper" May glared back at me.
"You're a dummy for planning cheer so early, sugar" I rolled my eyes and she mimicked me.
I drove down the road and picked the guys up in order. Charlie who only lived down the block, Piper who lives 3 blocks away and finally Mick.
"Hey guys. Hey Sage" Mick smiled at me and I smiled politely back.
"Hey Mick" I smiled.
"Okay. We've all greeted each other. Now can we go? I'm gonna be late" May complained.
"You're the dummy who planned practice so early" Piper snorted.
"That's what I said!" I laughed.
