Jyn Erso x Male Reader

(F/N) started running as fast as he could the second that the big ball of death appeared in the sky. But he didn't need to be a Jedi to know what was going to happen next. (F/N) ran along the beaches of Scariff, to the hangar bay, Stormtroopers were everywhere, (F/N) ignited his blue lightsaber, "How did I get into this?" (F/N) though to himself.

-----------------Flashback-------------------

(F/N) was sitting glaring at the Stormtroopers, he was sitting with his two friends Chirrut and Baze, he was on the planet Jedha, hiding in plain site so to speak. The young Jedi had been running ever since the rise of the empire, until he found Chirrut and Baze, who convinced him to stay on Jedha and cause a small amount of trouble for the Empire. The Stormtroopers were loading up another shipment, (F/N) could sense something bad was about to happen. (F/N) stood up, "The force is warning me...something is about to happen...on a grand scale," (F/N)'s eyes opened widely. (F/N) turned to look at his two friends, "We need to get off this planet!" 

Baze, snorted, he wasn't exactly sold on the idea of the force, (F/N) shook his head, "You don't..." (F/N) was knocked off his feet, from an explosion. (F/N) got up and reached for his lightsaber, Chirrut put his hand on (F/N)'s arm to stop him. "The rebellion," Chirrut said, (F/N) smiled and ran into the fray. The stormtroopers, were firing their blasters in all directions, they weren't hitting anything of course. (F/N) ran up and tackled a stormtrooper and grabbed his blaster, he shot the trooper in the face. (F/N) got up and fired a series of blasts, hitting a stormtrooper each time. (F/N) smiled and tossed the blaster aside, "So uncivilized," he remarked, (F/N) looked around to find his friend.

(F/N)'s smile vanished, when he saw a woman fighting the remaining stormtroopers, she had a blaster and knew how to use it. Her green eyes, scanned the battlefield, eliminating every threat that presented itself, (F/N)'s heart hammered. (F/N) stared at her for a few minutes, she was definitely a member of the rebellion, he could tell by the way she handled herself. (F/N) watched from afar, waiting, finally the battle was over, and the woman noticed (F/N) staring. "What are you looking at?" (F/N) snapped out of it and started stuttering. "I uhm...I was..." (F/N) noticed a single stormtrooper aiming his blaster at the woman, "LOOK OUT!"

(F/N) pulled out his lightsaber, ignited it, and threw it, the blue blade impaled the stormtrooper killing him instantly. The woman stared wide eyed at the lightsaber, (F/N) didn't say anything, he called the lightsaber back with the force. The lightsaber flew out of the stormtroopers chest and into (F/N)'s hand, he hid the lightsaber in his cloak and looked back at the woman she was staring at him know.

(F/N) smiled awkwardly at the woman, she tried to form a sentence, "You're a..." (F/N) interrupted, "I'm (F/N)" he greeted the woman, took awhile to respond.

"I'm Jyn," (F/N) smiled fully now, "good to meet you Jyn."

(F/N) slashed through the last Stormtrooper, he smiled as he got onto the ship, hopefully it would be able to get off Scariff. "Okay...Okay...where is everyone?" (F/N) closed his eyes, he needed to focus, he needed to channel the force. (F/N) sat down, he put his hands on his knees, he ignored the sounds of the battle, he focused on the sound of the beach washing against the sand, he felt the wind blowing through the tree, and he heard the wildlife running in fear. (F/N) frowned, he knew he was hovering off the ground slightly, (F/N) listened for anything, then he felt it, his eyes snapped open, and he fell back to the ground.

"Jyn," (F/N) said softly as he walked over to the ship's cockpit, (F/N) piloted the ship along the beach he knew exactly where to go. (F/N) smiled when he saw Cassian and Jyn on the beach, that smile vanished when he heard it, an explosion (F/N) closed his eyes he could feel the fear of everyone still on the planet. (F/N) landed quickly on the beach, "Someone call for a Jedi?" (F/N) said as he landed the ship, "(F/N)?"Jyn questioned as if she was uncertain that what she was seeing was correct.

(F/N) smiled, "Can you guys walk?" (F/N) focused on Jyn, when he heard Cassian say "I can walk, help Jyn." (F/N) picked Jyn up so she was leaning on him, she looked at (F/N) as he hauled her onto the shuttle. "You saved us," Jyn said, (F/N) looked into her eyes, "I guess I did," Jyn smiled, Cassian was in the cockpit and piloting the shuttle, "We need to get to the rest of the fleet," he said matter of factly.

(F/N) nodded and moved Jyn to a seat, he strapped her in, "This is gonna be a rough ride." (F/N) sat next to Jyn and strapped himself in, "I thought we were done for," Jyn said as the shuttle started to rattle from the shock of the Death star's blast. (F/N) nodded, "If I didn't get to the shuttle in time, you certainly would have." (F/N) closed his eyes, he was tired, he opened them again when he felt something. (F/N) looked down at his hand he saw Jyn she was holding it softly, (F/N) squeezed her hand. (F/N) felt the ship dock, "Are you ready?" (F/N) asked Jyn as he stood up, she nodded as he pulled her up. (F/N) helped Jyn up and started to exit the ship with Cassian, suddenly, the ship jolted, (F/N) looked at Cassian, "Were under attack," Cassian thought for a moment, then said, "There's a ship, we can take it out of here." (F/N) nodded and started following Cassian, leading an injured Jyn along. "You're going to be okay," (F/N) said to Jyn, she laughed a little, "you're very optimistic,"(F/N) smiled.

Cassian led them into the ships loading bay, a team of rebels was walking with them now. (F/N) smiled, it was almost over. Then (F/N) felt it, "Oh no," he said suddenly, "what's wrong?" Jyn noticed (F/N)'s sudden change. (F/N) swallowed, "Cassian, how long will it take for the ship to take off?" Cassian looked at (F/N) confused, "about three minutes, why do you ask?" (F/N) nodded, then he heard it a lightsaber ignite, everyone in the loading bay turned to look at the sound. A red lightsaber was glowing in the dark hallway, (F/N) turned to Cassian quickly, "You need to get out of here now!" Jyn realized what (F/N) was about to do,"Open fire!" the team of rebels yelled and started firing, "You're coming with us," Jyn grabbed onto (F/N) tightly, (F/N) pulled her off and handed her to Cassian, "I'm sorry, I wish we had more time," he leaned in and quickly kissed Jyn, she tried to grab him as he leaned away, "GO NOW!" (F/N) watched as Cassian pulled Jyn away, she was crying and shouting for (F/N) to come with them.

"Goodbye," (F/N) said softly to himself, as the loading bay door closed, effectively sealing out of the ship. (F/N) felt the whole loading bay go quiet. He turned around and looked down the hall, all that was heard was the breathing coming from Darth Vader, "(F/N) (L/N)" the Sith Lord said, "I was hoping I would find you." (F/N) pulled out his lightsaber, "Darth Vader, I was hoping you'd be taller." Darth Vader walked towards (F/N), who ignited his own lightsaber and slashed at Darth Vader, the Sith easily blocked it and kicked (F/N) back. (F/N) stood up quickly and narrowly dodged Vader's attack, (F/N) rolled behind Vader and tried to attack again, but he underestimated Vader's speed, and before he knew it (F/N) was on the ground. (F/N) raised his lightsaber in defense but Vader quickly disarmed (F/N) with his red lightsaber, "You are beaten, you are pathetic, Jedi." (F/N) looked at Vader, he slid across the floor slowly, to get away from the lightsaber, Vader followed. "You never had any hope of defeating me young Jedi," suddenly (F/N) smiled, "I never intended to win, I just needed to distract you for three minutes."

Darth Vader quickly turned but it was to late, the ship was already separating from the loading bay. Darth Vader didn't say anything as the ship took off, he turned back to (F/N). (F/N) watched as the ship went to hyperspace, leaving him with Vader. Vader walked over to (F/N) and raised his hand, immediately (F/N) felt his throat close shut, he was being force choked. Vader raised (F/N) into a standing position, (F/N) closed his eyes, his last though was of Jyn's beautiful face. Darth Vader slashed through (F/N)'s side and all that remained was the young Jedi's robes.
