(F/N) clutched his side, he dragged himself through the rock formation, praying that the enemy wouldn't find him. (F/N) prayed silently, but his prayers to the Allfather were ignored, the flapping of wings made (F/N)'s heart, he turned around so he was laying on his back.

"Fuck," (F/N) sighed when he saw the queen of the Valkyries herself, "Sigrun," (F/N) said smiling, he spit out a little blood. "You're looking well," Sigrun flew down and landed next to (F/N) she put her foot on his face. The current queen of the Valkyries had attacked (F/N) by surprise, Freya was right next to (F/N) when it happened. The Valkyrie queen had grabbed (F/N) and flown him far away from Freya, not after cutting him multiple times though.

"YOU DARE DISRESPECT ME!" Sigrun started putting pressure on (F/N)'s skull, he swore he heard it cracking. "Okay, okay, I apologize," (F/N) let out, he tried desperately to push Sigrun's foot off of him but he was to weak. Thankfully Sigrun must have been feeling merciful, she moved her foot off of (F/N)'s face, he let out a gasp of fresh air, "Look at the once mighty general of the Aesir army, how easily he has fallen," (F/N) gritted his teeth and tried to stand up but Sigrun put her wings on his throat. Sigrun's wings were as sharp as knives, "Where is the Allfather in this conflict? Oh that's right he has abandoned you." (F/N) kept to the ground, his body was healing slowly, but even if he managed to heal in time, he was no match for her in his cursed state.

(F/N) sighed, "What do you want Sigrun? I've been trapped in Midguard for over a year now. Why track me down now?"

(F/N) couldn't see Sigrun's face move, but he could hear the pain and anger in her voice, "You have defiled our once great queen, you and the Allfather," (F/N) gave the current Valkyrie leader a confused look, "Freya?"

Sigrun stomped on (F/N)'s chest, "Right! Right! Don't speak her name got it," (F/N) said through clenched teeth. Sigrun, looked at (F/N) through her helm, (F/N) could sense her stares and continued his previous thought, "I didn't do anything to her, it's Odin you want he was the one who cursed her. He's the one who cursed you to have a physical form. She can't defend herself because of Odin."

Sigrun didn't remove her foot, her anger didn't fade, "I speak not off Odin's actions but of yours." (F/N) raised an eyebrow, his wounds were slowly closing up, if he kept Sigrun talking long enough maybe he could get away from her and try to find Freya then he could figure it out from there. "Me? What did I do? I was tasked with defending her, if she dies so do I. I thought you would like that."

Sigrun slowly put pressure on (F/N)'s chest, her intentions were still unclear, "The queen has committed an unspeakable act because of you!" (F/N) cringed as Sigrun tried to break more bones in his body, the pain wasn't to much but she knew just how to hurt him. "What unspeakable act? Your queen doesn't like me! She would never do anything for me." The Valkyrie looked at (F/N) for a long time, (F/N) could sense the tension from a mile away. (F/N) layed his right arm down by his side and opened his palm, Sigrun didn't notice. "Love," is all Sigrun said, (F/N) raised an eyebrow, "excuse me?"

Sigrun continued, "I saw it the day she married Odin and I see it now when you two are together." (F/N) laughed, he could hear the banging of his sword, it was nearby, "I don't know what you've been seeing, but the closest we've come to 'love' is that time I helped her get her necklace back." (F/N) saw his sword in the distance, it was coming, (F/N) smiled, Sigrun noticed. Suddenly, (F/N)'s sword flew into his hand, (F/N) quickly pointed the blade at Sigrun, and said "Now if you'll excuse me."

Suddenly, the queen of the Valkyrie's was thrown off of (F/N) by the strong winds. (F/N) stood up quickly and pulled out his shield, he banged it against the rock formations floor.

The small cavern rumbled, stalactites fell of the ceiling, (F/N) easily avoided them Sigrun wasn't so lucky. The Valkyrie had dozens of rocks fall on her, hopefully crushing her to death (F/N) thought to himself. (F/N) quickly ran to the exit and just barely made it out, (F/N) turned back to the cave, and just as he was about to bang his shield again. Sigrun flew out of the rock pile and grabbed (F/N) by the face, (F/N) dropped both his weapons, due to the force of the hit, Sigrun flew up, (F/N) risked a look down. Sure enough Midgard was looking pretty small, finally Sigrun stopped flying and let (F/N) go. (F/N) fell through the sky he had never experienced something so exhilarating in his life. (F/N) close his eyes, he wondered if he would end up in Valhalla or Hel. Suddenly, (F/N) heard what sounded like a spell, he wondered what it was for, he didn't have time to find the answer to that question. (F/N) got the air knocked out of him in that very moment.

(F/N) opened his eyes, he was on the ground, he looked around, he saw Freya standing next to him out of breath. (F/N) quickly stood up from the ground, "What happened?" Freya looked at the sky as if searching for Sigrun, but the Valkyrie didn't appear.

Freya quickly caught her breath, "I saw you attack Sigrun, and I saw her fly you to the sky...I just barely managed to teleport you to the ground." (F/N) looked at the sky and then back at Freya, "I din't know you could do that?" Freya shook her head and started walking, "Neither did I. Come. Sigrun will know you're alive, she won't stop searching for you until you're dead."

(F/N) followed Freya, he held out his hand and called back his sword, and with his other hand he called back his shield. Both weapons flew back into (F/N)'s hands almost instantly. (F/N) sheathed them and followed Freya more closely, "Why does Sigrun want me dead?" Freya spoke quickly, in response "It's not important, we just need to get to the cave, I've warded it she won't be able to enter." (F/N) didn't respond, something about Freya's response struck him as odd. (F/N) scanned the forest for any sign of the Valkyrie, but she wasn't there, she must be looking somewhere else.

After what seemed like an eternity of running the pair finally burst through the clearing, the cave was in sight. (F/N) smiled, finally this nightmare was almost over. (F/N) looked at Freya, "Thank you, I didn't want to die by the likes of Sigrun."

Freya nodded, (F/N) turned back, Sigrun suddenly flew toward (F/N) and grabbed him. The angry Valkyrie had been cheated from her pray once and she would be damned if she did it again, "You will not escape this time." Sigrun grasped (F/N)'s throat slowly chocking the life out of him. (F/N) tried to punch and kick the Valkyrie but she was to strong, (F/N) slowly closed his eyes, the light was fading. Freya looked at (F/N), a small part of her wanted her sister to kill the Aesir god, she could finally be free of him, he could finally be put out of his misery. But the other part of her, felt that he deserved to live. Freya sighed, her words went through the air like the sound of a whip, "Rót."

Suddenly, magic vines erupted from the ground and grabbed the Valkyrie, Sigrun had no choice but to release the Aesir goddess. (F/N) stood up slowly, he walked over to the Valkyrie, he unsheathed his sword. (F/N) stood next stood Sigrun and raised his sword as if to chop her head off, Freya held out her hand and placed it on (F/N)'s chest.

(F/N) turned to look at the goddess, Freya looked at him with sympathy in her eyes, "Give her an honorable death. Please." (F/N) stared at Freya then turned his gaze back to Sigrun, he wanted to kill the Valkrie, she didn't deserve the courtesy of respect. (F/N) then thought of the look Freya had given her, (F/N) sighed he turned his sword and placed the tip on her back. Sigrun tried desperately to escape the vines but they were to powerful, (F/N) said "You were a very worthy adversary, I pray find your way to Valhalla." He looked down at the Valkyrie and slowly pushed his sword into her back, Sigrun let out a powerful yell then went limp.

Slowly the magic vines receded back into the ground, then Sigrun's spirit came out of her body, she looked like she was at peace. First Sigrun turned to (F/N), "Thank you, General (F/N), there aren't many Aesir that would give there enemies a honorable death so easily, you have brought honor to your people."

(F/N) remained silent, Sigrun turned her attention to Freya, "My queen, I have brought shame onto the Valkyrie, it was Odin, he imprisoned me in that form." Freya held up her hand, "It's alright Sigrun, the cruelty of Odin knows no bonds." (F/N) as sure Sigrun was smiling under her helm, Sigrun continued, "I must advice you my queen, be careful of the Aesir. Even the ones that are better then most need to be watched carefully." Freya nodded, (F/N) reached over and grabbed Sigrun's helm, her spirit went into the helm and her physical for faded until it was gone. (F/N) handed the helm to Freya, she deserved it more than him. (F/N) silently turned away from Freya, he started to walk back to the cave. Freya spoke up, "(F/N), " he stopped and turned to face her.

Freya gestured for (F/N) to walk over to her, he did as told, "You have grown much since you came to Midgard. For the way you handled those events. You have my eternal gratitude."

(F/N) bowed his head respectfully, Freya looked him in the eyes for awhile. (F/N) felt the tension, it wasn't like the tension he shared with Sigrun, this was different. Freya movedd her hand and grasped (F/N)'s cheek, (F/N) moved his head slowly towards Freya, she moved to him. The two paused and stared into each others eyes, the only sound were the animals in the forest. (F/N) kissed Freya softly, their hatred for one another slowly faded away as the two broke away.
