Chapter 1: Cafe Mew Mew

    "Starlight Asteroid Moon! Get your little butt up now or you'll be late for school!" a woman's voice, who happened to be my mother, yelled from down the hall.
    "I'm awake, I'm awake!" I half groaned and half yelled back at her. I peeled the covers off of my once warm body and threw my legs over the side of my bed. Once my feet had touched the bare wood floor, chills went up my spin. I debated whether to return to the warm comfort of my bed or to actually get up. I reluctantly stood up and stretched my arms. After hearing a few pops and cracks from stretch, I sluggishly my way into the bathroom. I undressed from my pajamas and climbed into the shower. I went to turn on the hot water, but accidentally turned the cold water on. I was struck with icy cold water which instantly woke me up. I made a small yelp and frantically turned the hot water on. As soon as I found the right temperature, I did my daily routine, which consisted of; shampooing my hair, rinsing, adding conditioner, rinsing, using body wash , and ended it all with a final rinse. Once I finished, I wrapped the towel around myself and returned to my bedroom. From there I changed into my school uniform and decided to just leave my hair down to air dry.
    Making my way into the kitchen, I grabbed a piece of toast that had just popped out of the toaster and started eating it. Though I instantly regretted it and began waving my hand in front of my mouth whilst shouting, 'hot, hot, hot!'
    "Well, good morning to you dear" my mom chuckled while placing her coffee on the counter and grabbing me a glass of water. I quickly downed the water and breathed out a sigh of relief. I glanced at the clock and noticed that I was in fact almost going to be late for school.
    "Wah! I'll see you later mom!" I kissed her check, grabbed my school bag, and zoomed out the door. I managed to arrive at school before the bell rang and noticed my friend, Ichigo, was at her locker changing into her school shoes.
    "Hey Ichigo!" I remarked as I opened my locker next to hers.
    "Hey Star!" She smiled and closed her locker. We heard the first warning bell go off and quickly walked to our homeroom. We arrived in time and sat in our seats to await the long day ahead of us.

    "Hey Ichigo? I heard that there was a cafe at the park, do you want to go?" I asked her while we were walking out of school. She seemed a little confused at first, but she finally opened her mouth to speak.
    "Do you mean Cafe Mew Mew?" She hesitantly asked me and I nodded my head, "Ummm...Sure, I guess we can."
    We walked our way to the park and spotted the cafe. It was huge and so, so pink! I managed to keep in a giggle as we walked into the building and to a table.
    "Ooo! This looks so yummy" I exclaimed and pointed at the strawberry cheesecake. All Ichigo did was nod her head while looking around the room.
    "Yo Ichigo, you in there? What's wrong?" I poked her and tilted my head to the side in confusion. She let out a small squeak and turned to glared at me.
    "It's nothing" She explained, yet I knew something was off. I began to speak again, but I was cut off by another voice.
    "Hello I am Pudding and I'll...Ichigo is that you?" A young girl with blonde hair asked. She had on an orange maid outfit and looked so adorable.
    "Oh snap..." Ichigo mumbled to herself as I tilted my head again in confusion.
    "Do you two know each other?" I asked while pointed back and forth between them.
    "Yes! Ichigo is working here!" Pudding, who I think is her name, exclaimed white a huge smile on her face.
    "You. Work. Here?" I asked Ichigo and she nodded looking ashamed. It suddenly got quiet until I burst out laughing.
    "Ahahahahaha OMG that is the most funniest thing I have ever heard! How come I didn't hear about this?" I managed to say in between my giggle fit. Ichigo was glaring at me the whole time and I eventually stopped laughing, but finally wiped a fake tear from under my eye.
    "Sorry" I pouted at her as Pudding left and brought over three other girls.
    "Ichigo whos your friend here" A girl with green braids asked Ichigo.
    "Star, this is Mint, Zakuro, Lettuce, and you already met her, Pudding" Ichigo said pointing at the other girls. The girl with the green braids was Lettuce, the girl with the purple long hair was Zakuro, and the girl with navy blue hair that was in two buns was Mint. They had such weird names, but I couldn't argue because of the fact that my name was weird as well. Anyways, back on track here, I smiled and waved at them.
    "Hello! Nice to meet you all!" I said and we all started to chat for a bit until they all had to return to their positions.
    "I can't believe you work in this kind of place" I whispered to Ichigo. She gave me a glare and sighed.
    "I have to go 'Work' now" Ichigo remarked and got up from her set. She disappeared into the back of the building and came back wearing a pink maid outfit.
    I tried to stop myself from laughing, but I managed to let out a giggle. Ichigo glared at me for like the hundredth time today as I waved my hands trying to show that I'm innocent. After awhile the shop finally closed up and I decided to wait outside for Ichigo to get changed. I heard something rustling on the side of the builders, so I went over to check out what is it. What I saw really shocked me.
