Chapter 13: Finally Happy

I took a deep breath and walked out the front door. I looked side to side and saw Ryou leaning against the building. I walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and his eyes opened wide.
    "You're awake?" He asked.
    "No, I'm sleep walking" I remarked sarcastically. He smiled and pulled me into a big hug. I hugged him back.
    "I'm sorry for everything" He whispered and all I could do was nod my head. We pulled away and I smiled up at him.
    "When did he get so tall?" I thought and I think he must of heard me.
    "When did you get so short?" He asked trying to sound like my voice; failing in the process. I started to laugh at him.
    "Can we start over?" Ryou asked worried. I stopped laughing and made a serious face.
    "Yes, but if this ever happens again, I won't hesitate to punch you" I answered. He smiled and picked me up into a hug again, though this time he spun me around.
    "So many hugs!" I groaned. We heard laughing behind me and pulled away to see everyone there. I smiled and walked over to them, Ryou following me.
    "So you guys made up?" Lettuce asked and I nodded at her.
    "Come on! Let's go to the park" Pudding exclaimed.

    I sat down on one of the swings and swung slowly until Alex walked over to me.
   "Star, can I sit on your lap?" He asked and I giggled I picked him up and placed him on my lap. I felt someone start pushing me and looked up to see that it was Ryou.
    "Thanks" I smiled and started laughing along with Alex.
-Ryou's POV-
    Gosh she has such a beautiful laughter. I wish I wasn't so stupid.
"This is fun!" Alex laughed. He seemed to be opening up to us, but Star is the most important person to him. I wish I was him, he gets to be with her when she is sad. Even though I'm the one who caused it.
"I'm sorry" I mumbled. Star looked up with a confused look. I shook my head and smiled at her.
-Starlight's POV-
    Ryou mumbled something and I gave him a confused look. He just shook his and smiled. After a while I set Alex down and he ran to go on the monkey bars with Pudding, which made me laugh.
    I heard Ryou chuckle in front of me this time. I felt him grab the chains of the swing as I looked up at him. He bent down and stared at me. It felt like 1,ooo butterflies were in my stomach right now.
"U-u-um" I stuttered, my face turning red when I noticed how close we were.
-Ryou's POV-
    I couldn't stand it anymore. I grabbed her face and kissed her.
    I felt sparks......no scratch that......FIREWORKS going off. We both pulled away and I looked down blushing when I realized what I just did.
-Starlight's POV-
    I blushed pure red and managed to say something without stuttering.
    "So, are we just more than friends?" I asked blushing looking down. I felt him pull my head up and I stared into his blue eyes.
    "Only if you want to be" He smiled at me and I nodded my head. He pecked my lips, stood up, and held his hand out. I grabbed it and he pulled me up. I tripped and fell on him. We both fell on the ground and I blushed again.
    "Sorry" We both said and got up. I heard a cough and  turned my head to the side. I saw Ichigo there wiggling her eyebrows at me. I stuck my tongue at her and I turned to Ryou hugging him.
    "Thanks" I whispered.
    "Nooooo...Thank you" He smirked and pecked my forehead. I felt my forehead where he kissed it.
    "Gotta calm down...too much blushing" I told myself. Ryou laughed and I glared at him earning another chuckle.

    "Goodbye everyone!" I waved. I walked over to Ryou and pecked his cheek. I went to go get Alex, but was pulled back.
    "That's not a kiss" Ryou smirked and I giggled. I 'correctly' kissed Ryou and got out of his grip.
    "Come on Alex, time to go" I said. He nodded and grabbed my hand. We were walking when Alex said something that made stop.
    "You really love him, don't you?" He asked me. I blushed like crazy and nodded my head not able to talk. He smiled and we began walking again.
    "I truly love him, don't I?" I thought with a smile.
