Chapter 4: A Kiss?

                -Ichigo's POV-
    Ryou and I went to the back room and closed the door.
    "Tell me why you didn't let Star hug you" I asked while crossing my arms across my chest. Ryou was silent for a couple minutes until he opened his mouth to speak.
    "I kinda like her" Ryou finally said. I kept my inner fangirl at bay and nodded my head. We decided to return to the main room and surprisingly Star was nowhere to be found.
    "Where's Star?" I asked.
    "She said she had to go home" Zakuro explained as she went to get changed from her maid outfit. I sighed and went to get changed as well.
-Star's POV-
    After I had told everyone that I had to go home, I left the cafe. I began walking my way home in deep thought. I wondered if I even had a chance to be with Ryou. I shook my head and realized that I had almost passed my house. I announced that I was home when I entered. I took off my shoes and went to my room.

    "Hey Star!" a voice announced and I turned from my locker to see my friend Izzy waving her hand as she ran into the school. I noticed something on the ground and went to stop Izzy before she could trip, but it was too late. She slipped and landed straight on her face.
    "Oh my gosh! Izzy, are you okay?" I exclaimed and crouched down in front of her. She sat up and nodded her head. We both then burst out laughing and I helped her off the floor. We went to our lockers and changed our shoes.
    "I wanted to ask if you are going to the park to watch the fireworks?" She asked me. Fireworks! I almost forgot there was a show tonight. I was so busy with helping at the cafe that it slipped my mind. Maybe I could go with.......nah he won't go with me.
     "Maybe" I shrugged and closed my locker. Izzy didn't say anything and we went our separate ways to our homerooms.

    I had changed into my maid outfit and began to walk around until the cafe opened. Ichigo was the first to break the silence of everyone's boredom.
    "So, is everyone going to the Fireworks?" Ichigo asked.
    "Yup" Mint, Zakuro, Pudding, and Lettuce answered her. I didn't say anything, I just continued to clean the tables.
    "Star?" Ichigo asked.
    "Huh?" I looked up from my spot.
    "You going?" She asked again.
    "Ehh...I don't know" I answered and continued to cleaning. I heard her sigh and walk away.
-Ichigo's POV-
     I grabbed Ryou by the arm and pulled him into a room.
    "What do you want?" He asked as I crossed my arms.
     "Ask Star to see the Fireworks with you" I said.
     "I don't know how" He rubbed his neck.
     "Try it on me first" I said and he nodded.
-Star's POV-
    I looked around and saw that Ichigo was nowhere to be seen. So I asked Mint where Ichigo went and she said that she went somewhere in the back. I thanked her and walked to the back. I heard some talking coming from a room and I listened. I know your not suppose to listen to other people's conversations, but one of the voices sounded like Ichigo.
     "Will you go to the fireworks with me?" another voice that sounded like Ryou questioned.
    "I'd love to" Ichigo answered and I froze in my spot. I didn't know that Ichigo was into Ryou like that and vice versa. I guess I won't be able to go with him. I walked back to the front and got changed out of my outfit.
     "I don't feel good so I'm going to head home" I announced and left the cafe before anyone could ask. I walked home and tried not to let a tear go down my face. I never thought that I like Ryou so much.
    "Honey you look absolutely adorable" My mom smiled and held her hands together. I blushed and looked down at my outfit.

    I was walking around when I noticed everyone from the cafe was there. I quickly turned around and tried to avoid them. I ended up in a field and decided to watch the fireworks there when I bumped into someone.
     "I'm sorry" We both said. I looked up and saw Ryou was in front of me.
    "Hi" We both said at the same time again and I giggled. I noticed how he was here by himself.
"Aren't you here with Ichigo?" I asked looking around for her.
     "No, why?" Ryou asked confused.
    "I thought you were going with her?" I asked again confused as well.
     "No, I kinda....ummm...wanted to go with you" He answered while rubbing the back of his neck.
     "O-Oh okay" I blushed and looked down and the ground. I felt his hand grab my chin and lifted it up so that we were eye to eye. We began to lean in and he slowly kissed me. As soon as we kissed, it felt like fireworks went off. Well, actual real fireworks went off around us. Then all of a sudden there was a poof and I felt myself being held. I looked up and realized that I had transformed into a fox and Ryou was holding me. He was smiling and man did I love that smile. He sat down on the ground and placed he in his lap. I snuggled closer to him as we watched the rest of the fireworks go off.
