He looks stunning.

His hair is in beautiful waves and lengths, accenting his ocean-like eyes. He's wearing casual clothes, since we both just got out of school; he's wearing a yellow tye-dye and blue jeans.

Stunning.

When he sees me, he smiles brightly, and my heart flutters and I feel insecure--no, not insecure, anxious.

"H-Hi, Will." I shake him again.

He stares at me, but in a way that makes me feel beautiful, "Hey, Nico."

We sit down together in the grass. People buzz around us, but they're inaudible as I study my soulmate.

Yes, I am in love.

"So, about Sunday..."

"Don't worry about it, Nico!" Will assures. "It's completely understandable."

I nod, looking down, my silent "okay."

"Tell me about yourself." he says in a sweet voice.

Here we go.

"What would you like to know?" I reply.

He shrugs, "Everything."

I nod, "Okay, um... Walk and talk?"

We stand and begin walking down the stone path in the park.

"My full name is Nico di Angelo--well, Nicolas, but I go by Nico--and I live with my mother. We moved here from Italy after... a traged- Ah!"

As I'm speaking, a volleyball comes flying at me! It hits me in the chest and I stumble back, tripping into Will. I froze when I realized I had backed up into him.

"Sorry." I say, and immediately jump back.

He laughs--and it's a beautiful laugh that I'll remember, "It's fine!"

He pauses and looks at me, "Cutie."

I furrow my eyebrows, about to say Excuse me? when I realize I'm blushing. I look down and try to cover it by shrugging my shoulders, but I'm completely failing.

This is going to be a long meet-up.
