I am busy browsing the internet when Meme get my attention.
"Open na ngayon ang pageant sa mga gustong sumali this season." Kaswal niyang sabi.
Ilang months narin ang nakalipas nang kinoronohan si Micah.
Next two months nadin ang Miss Universe kaya medyo busy ang team sa pag-eensayo kay Micah.
To be honest, Micah doesn't need ramp walk dahil given ng maganda siyang maglakad. She needs guidance sa attitude niya.
"Ok po Meme, sasali tayo." Tiniklop ko ang laptop ko at tumayo mula sa pagkakaupo.
I am now wearing my casual outfit- shorts and loose shirt.
"Oh? Saan ka pupunta?" Nakapameywang niyang tanong.
I just chuckled at her tone. Mukhang alam niya na kung saan ako pupunta.
"To the kitchen. Nagugutom ako eh." I simply said at hinalungkat ang loob ng refrigerator.
Kumuha ako ng ice cream at cake. Then I eat happily.
"Babae, alalahanin mo na sasali ka pa sa pageant. Tamataba ka girl." Meme said na nakasimangot.
Yeah, alam ko naman na tumaba ako. I just can't resist such blessings that fill in my always hungry tummy.
"Yeah Meme, I know." I ignored her warning at nilantakan ang kinakain ko.
"Don't tell me na you're pregnant?" She exclaimed making me to cough what I just eaten.
"Seriously Meme? Sino naman ang umano sa'kin? Eh wala nga akong boyfriend ehh. Duh lang ha!" Sabi ko ng may pandidiri.
It's not that I don't want to be preggy. May tamang panahin para dyan maybe after I crowned as Miss Universe. Hehehehehe.
"Ito nalang, let's have a vacation first. Mag bbrainstorm tayo kung ano ang gagawin next pageant para naman manalo ka." Meme said with glee.
Nakaramdam naman ako ng saya ng sinabi niyang magbabakasyon kami. Whoooaahh.
We went to an exclusive beach resort na pag-aari ng kaibigan ni Meme.
Halos anim na oras din ang ibiniyahe namin papunta ng resort pero worth it naman dahil the first time I step at the place nakaramdam ako ng peacefulness.
"Let's enjoy muna Anace bago tayo bumalik sa realidad ng buhay." Meme said.
I can taste the salty air and the sticky feeling of the beach.
We both enjoyed doing stuffs like jet ski, island boating and many adventures.
Pero I never got the chance to wear a swim suit dahil medyo nahiya ako sa katawan ko.
Gad! I got baby fats.
But then it was not a threat to me. I will doble my time at gym kapag nakabalik na kami ng Manila.
For now I will enjoy the freedom I have this week. Dahil for sure hindi na ito mauulit next few months.
