Chapter 2

3 YEARS LATER

Laya's P.O.V.

its Saturday night and I'm looking for something to wear to the clubs when I start hearing metal clanking around kinda like the sound of armor from some of the movies I've seen and just ignore it thinking that it's one of my neighbors in the building going to a costume party or something yeah I got weird neighbors well except the old lady from across the hall she's good company and really sweet she reminds me of my great grandmother anyway as I'm looking through my closet I hear the clanging noise coming closer so I finally go check and see what the noise is by opening my bedroom door a crack and look out seeing a giant space looking metal dude in my living room so I quickly and quietly shut my bedroom door and start pushing a dresser in front of it and then back away from the door and grab my baseball bat

Doctor's P.O.V.

I had put the Tardis on random while Lucas is sleeping in his room and feel the Tardis land so I grab my jacket and rush outside to see that I've landed in an alleyway near an apartment building in Cardiff and I see Cybermen going into the building well looks like it's time for an adventure so I take out my sonic and follow the Cybermen into the apartment building

Third Person P.O.V.

as the Doctor follows the Cybermen into the apartment building hiding behind corners and shooting them left and right with his sonic Laya is pushing the dresser away from her bedroom door she grabs her bat and swings the door open and attacks the Cyberman knocking its head off and killing it when she turns around she sees the Doctor

Laya's P.O.V.

when I'm finally sure that the metal dude that came into my apartment is dead I turn around and see a funny looking guy who's wearing a suit and tie with a brown trench coat and point my bat at him

"who are you and did you bring these things here" I say to the funny man and see him point something at me that looks like some weird flashlight thing

"woah put that thing down and no I did not bring them here they are called Cybermen and they have been capturing everyone in this building and I need to get you out of here" says the funny man who doesn't give me his name

"what do you mean they're capturing everyone in the building" I say to him

"come with me" he says and grabs my hand to drag me out of my apartment

so once we're out of my apartment and into the hallway we see people walking in a straight line that looks like they're walking to the more secluded area of the building and I immediately recognize the old lady from across the hall

"oh my god" I say to the funny man still not knowing his name which is starting to annoy me a little bit

"sad isn't it that they're being controlled by Cybermites just take a look in their ears" he says to me

so I do as he says and walk over to one of the people in the line and look into their ear and see a super tiny version of the giant metal dude I just killed with my bat and then walk back to Mr. Funnyman

"so what do we do" I ask him

"we follow the people of course but we have to make sure nobody else sees us" he tells me and I give him a nod of my head

we start walking down the hallway and I'm about to go around the corner when he grabs my shoulder and pulls me back behind him

"the hell was that for" I whisper to him

"there's a portal up ahead that the people are walking into" he tells me and I give him a confused face

I then look around him while staying behind him at the same time and do in fact see a portal leading to god knows where so I look back at the guy and see him thinking hard about something
