It Started With A Timelord

Chapter 3

~Back In The Tardis~

Laya's P.O.V.

"so Laya where would you like to go on your first ever adventure" the Doctor asks me

"but I thought that the Cybermen was my first adventure" I say to him and I hear Lucas giggling

"oh no I meant first chosen adventure" he says and I give him a funny look while thinking

"we can go to the future the past or anywhere in the present" he says to me

I keep thinking about where we can go and I immediately get an idea

"what about Shakespeare" I say to them and see their faces light up

"that's brilliant" I hear Lucas say "Doctor when was the last time we went to see Shakespeare"

"Lucas don't spoil her fun" the Doctor glares at Lucas

"oh please if it's anything like the books I've read in history classes when I was a child this should be a treat" I say to both of them which makes Lucas give the Doctor a smug look

"told you she would be good company Doctor" Lucas says

"oh hush you" the Doctor rolls his eyes at Lucas then turns to the control panel flipping switches and pushing buttons

I fall on my butt when we land and give a sharp glare to the Doctor and hear Lucas slightly groan

"oi again with no warnings" I sass to the Doctor

"right sorry" he gives me a sheepish look before running off for his jacket near the doors

"sorry about him he tends to forget about warning me of when we land sometimes" Lucas gives me an apologetic smile and helps me up

"it's fine I mean I don't have any broken bones so it's fine" I smile at Lucas already feeling like I've gained a good friend

"come along you two hurry up now" the Doctor says popping his head back in through the doors of the Tardis

"alright keep your clothes on Doctor we're coming" Lucas says causing us both to giggle as we follow behind the Doctor

"so I take it he's gone naked before" I giggle while asking Lucas

"oh yes around Christmas time scared the bloody daylights out of people to" Lucas says trying his best to keep a straight face but failing causing me to burst out laughing

"are you two quite done now" we hear the Doctor say and turn to face him

I ended up gasping at the sight behind the Doctor and start walking past him on the cobblestone street looking at everything in absolute wonder and awe seeing all of the detail work of the buildings and the street lamps this is so much better than Cardiff

"so I have a special treat for both of you" the Doctor says grabbing my attention and I already see Lucas looking at the Doctor

"well spit it out Doc" I say

"yeah come on Doctor tell us" Lucas says almost begging the Doctor

"well since Laya here chose Shakespeare I thought why not take you both to see one of his plays" the Doctor says giving me a smile "but you have to guess which one"

'ah crap that's gonna be hard' I think to myself

"I don't know honestly" Lucas says

"Laya what about you" the Doctor asks me

"Romeo and Juliet" I guess

"nope try again" the Doctor says

"Hamlet" I say more of a question than a statement
