It Started With A Timelord

Chapter 5

Laya's P.O.V.

new morning new day I guess anyway I just entered the control room of the Tardis and see the Doctor standing in front of the console pressing buttons and flipping switches

"ah Laya you're up good now before you ask where Lucas is he's still asleep" he tells me

"okay so what are you doing then" I ask him

"well I thought that I could maybe take you to an amusement park to get your mind off of what happened in the tower back on Gallifrey" he tells me while blushing

"so is this like a date or something" I say making him blush harder

"well um it uh" he stutters

"don't worry Doc it's fine and thank you for this I probably would have just stayed in the Tardis and read in the library but an amusement park sounds way better" I say to him making him smile

"alright well we're already here so if you'll just follow me out the doors here" he says before taking my hand and leading me out of the Tardis towards the amusement park

"um Doctor why isn't there any noise" I ask him curious as to why I don't hear anything from the rides or hear any people

"good question and I actually don't know" he says

we start walking further into the amusement park and see in front of us a dead body causing us to rush over and inspect it

"Doctor what is it" I ask him

"it's a dead Silurian well an old one actually but he is very much dead" he tells me

we then hear footsteps approaching from the distance and the Doctor grabs my hand and hides us behind the wall of one of the booths

"Doctor what's going on" I ask him

"shhh Laya they're almost gone" he tells me and peaks his head out from our hiding spot and looks to see if there's anyone there

"what was that" I ask

"more Silurians" he tells me before grabbing his sonic and scanning the area for life

"well that's strange" he mutters

"what do you mean Doctor is there something wrong" I ask

"oh there's something wrong alright considering all of the people are underground" he tells me

"wait underground as in like under the amusement park somehow" I ask sounding slightly stupid with how shocked I am

"yes they're under the amusement park but how I don't know I mean maybe the sewers but I have no idea" he says

I then start thinking and remember hearing on television some years ago that there were catacombs in some of the amusement parks the show was featuring

"what about catacombs Doctor" I ask

"maybe but we should be careful alright" he tells me and I nod

Tenth Doctor's P.O.V.

I grab Laya's hand and pull her behind me as we follow the direction the two Silurians we saw earlier go and see that we are heading underground

"Doctor what is this" Laya asks me

"I don't know" I tell her

we then reach a door and I use my sonic to open it up and see a room in front of us with a table in the middle of the room and a Silurian on the other side of the table
