"Wait, dragons?! Did they have riders?" Stormfly asked.

"I couldn't get a good look, Storm." Luna rolled her eyes.

"Sure you didn't..." Storm said, sarcastically.

"I didn't! I swear!" the white dragon fired back.

"Girls! Calm down!" Astrid yelled.

She was trying, if anything, to get the two dragons of different species to calm down and stop roaring at one another. The sun shined above the trio with its bright rays hitting them on their back as Luna and Stormfly flew side by side.

[ Five hours later ]

The trio had been flying for five consecutive hours and all three females were hungry but luckily, they had finally made it to an island. It wasn't the one Luna had spotted as that one was still quite a distance away.

"Eat up, girls." Astrid told them, as she threw both dragons a few cods.

She yawned loudly. "I'm gonna get some shut eye. Wake me if anything happens, okay?" she said and walked over to her makeshift bed, which was Stormfly's wings.

Astrid fell asleep not a second later while her two dragons kept watch. Luna's white light blue tipped ears perked up slightly as she fixated her sense on the sudden noise.

"I smelled Cod over here but it appears to be gone!" a unknown dragon said.

"Hide her!" Luna whispered as soft as she could.

Stormfly didn't need to think twice before enclosing Astrid in both wings while Luna stood in front of both of them, protectively.

"Cod? But that's not a fish that's found near here." someone noted.

"I know what I smelled Winger. It was definitely Cod." the same dragon that spoke first, spoke again.

"Winger's right. Cod isn't found anywhere near Huttsgalor and if she smelled it, then...new dragons!" a redheaded girl shouted.

"Ley, what if these dragons aren't friendly?" a dragon said.

"Then...I don't know." the red headed girl replied.

The group of unknown people and dragons to Luna and Stormfly, came walking towards the two as the red headed girl ran up to them.

"Ley?" a green and yellow dragon with an eel-like tail and a crown of fins on her head asked.

Luna started growling, keeping her white pink tinted wings at her sides until the strangers showed some type of hostility. Only then, would she reveal them.

The red headed girl stretched her hand out as Luna and Stormfly both growled.

"W..what's going on?" a voice suddenly said.

The three females turned to where the voice came from —underneath Stormfly's wings. Astrid brushed herself off and patted the Nadder on the side of her face.

"While the nap was good, Luna's growling kept me up." Astrid replied playfully smacking the Light Fury in her head.

"Sorry." she said, glaring at Stormfly when the Nadder started laughing loudly.

"Who are you?" Astrid asked the red headed girl.

"Oh, I'm Leyla, that's my twin brother Dak." Leyla said, gesturing with her right thumb to her idiot brother standing beside a blue and creamed dragon.

"I'm Astrid." Astrid introduced herself.

"It's nice to finally another dragon rider! Sorry, I just assumed you were one; with the saddle on the blue and yellow dragon." Leyla smiled.

Astrid grinned. "Yeah, I'm a dragon rider." she said.

"What type of dragons are they? I've never seen ones like them in my whole life!" Leyla shouted.

She was way too excited about the idea of new dragons and while for Astrid, Leyla and Dak's dragons were new to her.

"You go first." the green eel-like one said.

"Why us? Why don't you go first?" Luna snapped.

"Hey! Calm down Sum." the blue and cream one interrupted the two females.

"Wing, get out of my way." the eel one said, as the creamy one shook his head.

"Summer is a Fastfin and is one of the few species of dragon with no natural eel phobia." Leyla explained. "She's also the fastest in the water and squirts water instead of the normal fire a regular dragon has." she added.

"No eel phobia? I've only heard of Typhoomerangs eating them with no problems." Astrid muttered.

She, of course, had known that fact due to her writing it down when she and Stormfly came across a Typhoomerang eating eels. This was shortly before they found Luna in a cage on a ship, probably to be sold to someone named Grimey or something, she never caught his name.

"What?" Leyla asked her.

"Oh, it's a dragon species that's common where I'm from." Astrid said, quickly.

Leyla smiled. "Winger, Dak's dragon, is a Swiftwing. They are the fastest dragons on the planet and their fire is a hot blue-purple energy." the girl explained.

"Fast, you say? We'll see about that." Luna smirked.

"Cutter," Leyla pointed to a brown and yellow dragon with a spiky tail and a crown of spikes on his head, "is a Relentless Razorwing. He has the best eyesight in the dragon world. They can slice wood with their tails and have normal fire." she stated.

"He looks a little like Stormfly, just smaller." Astrid looked back at her Nadder.

"Aggro is a Fire Fury." the minute Leyla said that, Luna's ears perked up. "Don't let their size judge them. They're hot-headed fiery dragons." she said.

"You got that right!" Aggro said, proudly.

"Burple is a Rockspitter. He has four stomachs. One for food and the other three for, well, just about anything." Leyla said as she introduced the purple Gronckle-like dragon currently chilling on his back.

"Don't forget Summer!" Dak shouted.

"I already got her." Leyla rolled her emerald eyes.

She then turned to Astrid. "Your turn." she said and got comfy on the ground.

"Stormfly is a Deadly Nadder. They're sorta like Relentless Razorwings but a little different. Piercing spines, loyal, intelligent, and deadly. Their fire is the hottest fire in the world, magnesium." Astrid stated, proudly.

"Wow." Leyla said, amazed.

"Yeah, wow." Dak agreed with her.

"And Luna is a Light Fury. Not much is actually known about her type other than the fact she can become invisible using her fire, which is a plasma blast." Astrid relayed all that she knew, which sadly, wasn't much.
