Chapter 7

After those day that we went to Palawan, Jho and I became closer. We started to know each other's little things for we always eat lunch together.

"Uhm, Jho, We have a project offered by Mr. Fabregas. If you know what I mean.." I smiled to her.

I know she's really dedicated in her work. Lahat ng project na binibigay ko sakanya successful and maganda yung feed back ng clients. That's why I always come back to her whenever there's a big project because sometimes hindi ko na naasikaso yung iba.

"Yes I know. I'd be glad tho" She chuckled.

"Don't worry my kasama ka naman. Si Marci, he's from our construction site"

"Gwapo ba yan?"

Muntik na kong mabilaukan sa sinabi niya. Well, hindi gwapo si Marci. Ako lang gwapo, tas maganda pa.

"Hindi" I said while i play my food.

"Sus, malay mo gwapo tas ayaw mo la--"

"Hindi nga gwapo!" I cut her off. Napalakas ata kasi medyo napatingin yung ibang tao sa coffee shop. "I-im sorry. Basta hindi sya gwapo"

After that incident, none of us tried to open a chitchat. We get out from the coffee shop without looking in each other's eyes. Alam ko lang sumusunod sya sa akin. 

We are using my car now and I am the one who's driving. 

'Ugh, di pwedeng hindi kami magka-ayos tapos nakarating na kami sa office'

"Sorry" I said without looking at her.

Di sya umiimik.

'Wtf Jho?!'

"Hey, i'm sorry" Buti nalang at traffic, pwede ko syang tignan.

"Bakit mo ako sinigawan?" Nagulat ako ng bigla syang umiyak.

"Shit" I said and look for the nearest parking slot and parked my car.

I held her hand after I finished parking, "Look Jho, it's not my intention to make you cry and to shout at you" But she didn't stop crying. "I'm sorry please?"

"Natakot lang ako" She said between her sobs.

"I know, i know" I hugged her this time. "I'm sorry. It will not happen again, okay?"

"Promise?" This time I feel that she already stopped crying.

I kissed her forehead out of nowhere, "Promise"

We headed back to our office holding each other's hand. Baka kasi umiyak siya ulit sya, nakakaguilty eh. Hinatid ko sya sa office nya and i went to my office also.

Hindi pa ko nakakaupo ay may kumatok na sa office ko. "Come in"

Niluwa ng pinto si Maddie na nakangiti, akala mo nagnakaw ako ng milyong milyong pera.

"What's with that smile, Madayag?"

"Saw that!" She said still wearing that creepy smile.

"Saw what?"

"That" She pointed out my hand. My right hand. Yung pinanghawak ko kay Jho kanina. "Pansin ko rin, after Palawan duties, di mo na kami niyayang lumabas ni Alyssa, Pauline at Deanna. You are always with Jho" she pouted.

"Maddie, I already told you before, and i'm gonna tell you again. I love Jia"

"Wala naman akong sinabing hindi mo na mahal si Jia" she said and sit beside me.
