"So you think that you know who is searching for a wand, Harry?" Hermione asked. "I find that hard to believe. I mean, he has his own wand that he has killed hundreds of people with, why would he want a new one?"
Harry, Hermione and Ron were sitting on the floor of Ron's bedroom in the Burrow. It had been one week since the dream that Harry had and two days since the Weasleys had come to pick Harry up from Privet Drive.
"Maybe the wand is special" Ron said.
"Yeah, he did say something about it being unbeatable" Harry said. Hermione looked as if she was thinking really hard as to what wand this could be but she came up blank.
"He also said something about Grindelwald and Dumbledore fighting and Dumbledore taking the wand" Harry said. Hermione's eyes widened.
"Dumbledore and Grindelwald?" she asked. "But lots of people have seen Dumbledore's wand including you, Harry. It looks like a normal, powerful wand." All three of the teens were stumped.
"This isn't what we should be talking about guys" Ron said, "The quidditch world cup is tomorrow and we're here moping about you know who. Come on people!" Harry and Hermione ignored him and went back to the conversation.
"Wait, Voldemort also mentioned something about getting his body back" Harry said, noticing that Hermione and Ron both flinched when they heard the name. He rolled his eyes. When would they ever get over that?
"That's not good news" Ron said.
"No shit" Hermione said, "If you know who gets his body back then he'd be way more powerful and formidable."
"It seems as if he has this elaborate plan that he is trusting Peter Pettigrew to do" Harry said. Ron looked at Harry and they laughed. Hermione gave a small smile.
"Like Ron said, let's just forget about this. The quidditch cup is tomorrow and we'll be back at Hogwarts in a couple of months" Harry said.
"Plus your birthday is in a week" Ron said.
"Oh yeah I forgot about that" Harry said. Ron's eyes shot into his forehead.
"You forgot about your birthday? How is that even possible?" Ron asked incredulously. Harry shrugged.
"It was never really important to the Dursleys. They never even gave me a cake. I guess because of that it never mattered to me. My birthday was just like any other day."
Ron shook his head. "This is an outrage! I must tell my mum!" He got up and ran out of the room. Hermione looked at Harry sadly.
"Is it really that bad?" she asked. Harry shook his head and Hermione breathed a sigh of relief.
"Nah. It's worse" Harry said.
The next day
Harry packed a bag of clothes and his toothbrush. He also put his invisibility cloak in there just in case. He picked up the suitcase and started to lug it down the stairs. Finally, he reached the bottom and he dragged the suitcase over to where the other suitcases. Harry noticed that Fred and George's suitcases were particularly bulgy but he decided not to say anything.
"Alright everyone. Breakfast, breakfast!" Ms. Weasley yelled. Everyone sat at the table and ate the enormous breakfast that Ms. Weasley had cooked. When everybody was finished and Ms. Weasley magically cleared the plates, Mr. Weasley said, "Well if that's it, I think it's time to go. Luggage first, luggage first." He pointed his wand at the suitcases and was about to cast a spell when Ms. Weasley said, "Wait!" She marched over to the suitcases and grabbed Fred and George's. They looked at each other.
