A/N: I am, oh, so excited for this chapter! It shall be very interesting... I think.
An year has passed and another war broke out between the Red and White Kingdom. Alice, Tarrant, and Glen (who disappeared after Alex's birthday but came back after an year. To be precise, yesterday.) gathered the three Hightopps in the bedroom.
"Alice," Tarrant said to his "neice", "would you be a dear and cast the locking and sound ward?"
"Most definitely, uncle." Although Alice did not understand why she would need to do that. She thought it would probably be something about the war. All three Hightopps children are now grown up, fierce, strong, and mad/bonkers as ever.
Glen's POV
It's now time to tell the kids. Glen, you can do this. I had thought this to be easy. The situation proved me wrong.
"Alice, Angelica, and Alex," I started, careful with my words, "Alice, Tarrant, and I are here to tell you about... why I left, and... your real parents."
"..Real...parents?" Alex asked; confused, he tilted his head to the side and looked at his sisters, who seemed to be just as surprised, but not at all confused. Poor boy, always believed I was his true friend and father; always trusted me.
"Yes. We have to tell you this before the battle. In case we..." Alice's voice trailed off.
"Alice, dear! That will never happen." Tarrant said to her.
Alice Kingsleigh's POV
Oh gosh, so far, they don't seem to be too happy; or at least not Alex. I thought to myself, now squeezing Tarrant's hand hard.
"I left six years ago," Glen said, "because your mother wanted me to. She said to me, 'Glen, go, after I die, you must go. The children will be taken care of. I know they will.' So I left."
Worriedly, I looked over to the twins, whose eyes are now bright orange, looking ready to kill. On the other hand, Alex's eyes were blue, like the ocean and the sky.
Normal POV
"Good thing you left. THE LESS FAMILY WE HAVE, THE MORE HAPPIER US THREE WILL BE! Alice..calm yourself." Alice asked. She was always the smartest and the most calm. But when she gets angry, oh, she gets really angry. "What about our 'real parents'? Who are they? OR ARE YOU GOING TO SAY THEY DIED TOO?"
"Oh, why in Underland would you.." Alice Kingsleigh said with a pained expression on her face. "Alice, Angelica, Alex. Your real parents... are right here. Tarrant and I are your real parents..I'm your mum and I'm so sorry for not telling you this earlier.."
"Huh..?" Said a startled Angelica. "But that can't be. Why would we own magic then..? Uncle.. I mean, father, definitely doesn't own magic."
Glen winced at the sound of Angelica calling her real father father. Irony.
"Grandmother." It seems Alice Hightopp, the smartest of them all, has figured it out. "Grandmother knew magic; we inherited magic from Grandmother."
"YOU LIED TO ME." Alex yelled toward Glen with pure red eyes. Tears trickling down his cheeks. "I BELIEVED YOU! YOU DIDN'T LEAVE BECAUSE MOTHER TOLD YOU TO. IF YOU LOVED US, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE LEFT. YOU LEFT BECAUSE YOU'RE A SELFISH PRICK!"
"Alex, that is enough. At least now you know he's not our father, like we said before." Alice and Angelica said, together.
A/N:
Mental me:oo, someone's not taking this well. ;D
Author me: Cut him some slack. I deifinitely would've freaked too. Alex is probably the most normal one out of the three.
