Theo leads me to a concrete room with a table and two chairs sitting across from each other. I see Kade strapped to a chair with a bruised face. I turn towards Theo, but he reads my mind before I utter a word. "The bruises are older. No one has touched him since the night in his office."

I nod, "can I talk to him alone?" Theo goes to respond, but I quickly cut him off. "He's strapped to a chair, I doubt he can hurt me."

Theo nods and goes to walk out, "I'll be just right outside." He says firmly.

I watch Kade glare at Theo as he leaves the room.

I walk over to the table and Kade's eyes quickly follow my movements. I sit down in front of him and he smiles. "You're very beautiful, you have the Rizzo features." He says.

I roll my eyes, "did you decide that before or after you cut my thigh, or when you let your boy toy hit me?"

He shakes his head, "I...I wasn't sure who you were, exactly. I mean sure, we looked alike, but I had no idea Elizabeth was pregnant."

It was hard to stand there and look him in the eye, after what he put me through. "Do you even feel any remorse for what you did?"

He looks down at my feet, "sweetheart, of course I do."

I clench my teeth, "don't call me that. My name is Haley. You're only remorseful because you found out who I am and that you didn't kill Theo."

He slams his back against the chair. "THAT MAN KILLED YOUR BROTHER!"

I cup my hands on the table, "no, that man killed an enemy's son because you betray his father."

His jaw clenches, "he was screwing my wife! You really think that if you were fucking one of Theo's friends he wouldn't put a bullet between their eyes?"

Well...shit. He has a point. I shake my head. "So having an affair with my mother negates your wrong doing? I'm not saying what Theo's father did was right, but you did kill him and mail his body back to Theo. What did you expect would happen? He would just accept it and move on. How dumb does that sound?"

He lifts his head up, looking down at me. "So, our allegiance is with Theo, huh?"

"If you're asking me if I would betray Theo, my answer is no, I wouldn't. But, am I indebted to him? No, I'm not. What I'm telling you is, you both made mistakes, more so on Theo's father's side. You're making Theo pay for his father's mistakes, when he's nothing like him."

He grins, "oh that boy is more like him than you think. He shows no mercy."

I smirk, "that's where you're wrong. You know nothing about Theo. When we first met he should have killed me, but he didn't. He let me live in his home. He got me to see a therapist when I refused, he showed me what family love really feels like, I started working again and he saved my life. He also spared your life. He may have made some really dumb decisions, but he's a good person. I've heard a little bit about his father and even his mother says that Theo is not like him. I know Theo has a heart, it just has a shell that you have to get through first."

"You expect me to believe this bullshit that he's changed? NO! I've seen the rage and anger from Theo. He would murder anyone that stands in his way." He spits.

I can feel fire building in my stomach. "No he wouldn't. I wouldn't let him."

His mood quickly changed, "Well, I'm glad you know his weaknesses. I want you to take over the Rizzo gang. Or, what's left of them. We still have some people who are loyal to me. I know you're strong and can make the gang strong again. You're very smart Haley.." He says with hope in his eyes.

I shake my head. "Did you hear anything I just said? No, I'm not getting involved in your world."

He furrows his eyebrows, "so what? Your just going to be one of Theo's whores then?"

I smack him across the face. "I'm nobody's - I'm not yours and I'm definitely not Theo's. No one owns me. Theo may say it, but he knows that I would fight him to walk out of here if I wanted. You're not going to talk to me like that." I yell.

He sits there, almost stunned. "Well...I didn't see that coming. You're nothing like I expect at first. You have a lot of fire."

I smirk at him, "you've met my mother right?"

He chuckles, "yes and you do remind me a lot of her. So, what now? I stay down here and you make continual visits?"

I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know. Theo said it was up to me what happened to you. But, I don't think I could trust you to not hurt Theo."

He looks up at me, "you really love him, don't you?"

I nod. I go to stand up and walk out of the door.

"Haley, for what it's worth, I'm glad I finally got to meet you. But, I can't promise I won't try to kill Theo if an opportunity presented itself. There's too much pride and bad blood there."

I open the door and turn to look at him, "then I can't guarantee your life." I shut the door and walk past Theo.

I put my hands to my face and start sobbing. Tears are falling uncontrollably and I can hear Theo calling for me. I just want to get inside that vehicle.

Just as I each the door for the handle. A feel Theo's hand grab me and pull me into his hard chest. "Hey...hey. Calm down." He rubs my back, pressing me further into him. I grab ahold of his shirt and cry more.

He continues to rub my back to soothe me. My crying starts to subside. "Haley, I thought seeing him might make you happy."

I lay my forehead against his peck. "He told me he couldn't guarantee he wouldn't come after you. What am I going to do?" I cry more, realizing I have no options but to have Theo kill him.

He wraps his arms around me, tightening his hold. "Stop. You just saw him. That doesn't mean you have to make a decision today. Spend some time with him and get to know him."

I look up at him, "would you be willing to spend time with him?"

I could feel his chest moving up and down from his deep breaths. "Haley...Kade and I will never have a great relationship. There's too much bad blood there. But, if you really wanted me to spend more time and be civil. I would say I could try, but don't think we are going to be buddy buddy and go on fishing trips."

I laugh. "I don't see you going on fishing trips."

He pulls away from me slightly and lifts my chin, looking into my eyes. "I would for you."

He opens the car door. "Get in. We need to talk about your mother and Tiffany."

Oh God...

I get into the car. "Your mother is driving me crazy about knowing how you are. I know you're pissed at her for lying, but for god sakes at least talk to her. She calls my phone at least three times a day." He says annoyed.

I chuckle. "Okay, I'll call her. What about Tiffany?"

He looks at me with a worried look. "She's been...moved...to a guest house on the property. She knows too much Haley."

"YOU TOOK HER!" I yell.

I can see Theo gripping the steering wheel. "Yes, but she's fine. A maid, cook and two body guards are there. Zane goes over there periodically and makes sure Tiffany has everything. I promise we didn't hurt her. She's just really pissed off right now."

I shake my head, "you think!"

We arrive to the house. Theo and I walk inside. "You and I are going to have a discussion about taking people." I point at Theo.

He smirks, "I look forward to it. Oh yeah, by the way...Nat will be here tomorrow"

"What do you mean?" I ask.

He goes to head up stairs. "We can talk about it tonight, after you see Tiffany." He winks and disappears into his office.

I roll my eyes as I make my way to the guest house. This is not going to be pretty.
