SPOILERS AHEAD: CONNOR: JERICHO CHAPTER. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT BEEN TO THE EVIDENCE ROOM YET.

"Agent Perkins, sir."

"Agent Y/N."

"Not to be rude, but, are you sure we should continue to investigate this, 'Jericho'? What if it's all a ruse to get us off track, or waste our time?" Agent Y/N asked, a flat and monotonous tone leaving her mouth.

"I can't tell if you're trying to change my mind..,"

Agent Perkins turned around from his window, and began walking towards Y/N, her LED flickering yellow as she soaked in the movement. "Or trying to lose your job." He finished.

Anger began spreading through the female agent, and she felt her patience wearing thin. God, this guy is an asshole. "Sir, excuse me, but I'm one of your best agents, I was also sent by Cyberlife. You wouldn't, and advisingly shouldn't, fire me for reasons of worry. I am concerned that we could be wasting our-"

"The only time we're wasting is mine, and it's because of you. So," Agent Perkins stepped closer, "unless you have evidence of Jericho being a scheme, get the hell out of my office." He barked.

Y/N said not another word, shaking her head and leaving the office. Before she left, her sensitive audio processor picked up a mutter from her boss, "I'm leading a team to stop androids yet I'm working with one. Stupid pieces of trash. Cyberlife better take this one back."

A scoff left the said androids mouth, before she walked all the way back to Jericho, back to Markus.

Time skip

"Markus? You here? We have a situation. Oh-- North is that you?" Y/N called out, her LED flickering in the slight dark.

"Y/N?"

"It is you! Oh it's been so long. Everytime I come to visit you're not here. Then again, it's been months since I've last came. That Perkins prick wont stop dragging me around, bragging about me being better than the RK800 prototype that Lieutenant Anderson has, while badmouthing me in private. Also, I might be an RD500 but I am not comparable, by any means, to a Connor series. Oh, sorry, rambling. Do you know where I can find Markus? I have... A problem. You and Josh can accompany us as well. This is, uh, something everyone needs to hear." Y/N coughed, not really needing to, but trying to make it obvious she's done talking.

North had a processing face, as if she was trying to take in every character her friend had spoken. Once reaching the end, after about 3 seconds, she slowly nodded. "Y-Yeah, this way."

North led the other android up a few flights of stairs, taking her into the ships old command room. "Markus, buddy, pal, we have an issue."

Markus looked up at the two, his face still as deadpan as ever. "What is it?"

"Perkins.. He won't delay this investigation any longer. I-I tried. He said unless I had evidence, there was no stopping it. We either get attacked soon or we get proof to slow it down. If we can slow it down we can get ready to relocate, or attack back. But if we don't, who knows when they'll fire. Perkins and his crew know better than to inform me. After they caught me snooping around last time, I don't think they trust me. What do you think we should do?"

Markus thought for a few minutes, before sighing and beginning to speak. "We should-"

"I've been ordered to take you alive." A gun click was heard, "but I wont hesitate to shoot if you give me no choice."

North and Y/N slowly turn around, a shocked gasp leaving the FBI android. "C..Connor? What the--"

"Agent Y/N? What are you doing here? Are you with them? Are you...? Are you a deviant?" Connor spoke, his tone slightly sad, as he turned his gun on her. "My orders don't specify who I kill, but that doesn't mean I won't shoot. Don't make this any harder, Y/N."
