The tale begins from the end. The aftermath, rather. Unusual, right? But that's how it goes. It all ended in the beginning.

There was once a class called Lucky 7 in this school. They were the end.

The seven richest, smartest, prettiest, and athletic students of Nazlanmak High. But something happened, and the least smartest out of all of them, died.

Her name is Moria Morgan.

Of course, the dumbest one dies first.

Out of all the Lucky 7 students, Moria was the least known. If they had a ranking, she'd be placed last. Unlike any other cliche stories where the 'weakest' barred their teeth and hated the others, Moria didn't mind it. She just smiled, and laughed about it when people asked her what it feels like to be treated as the 'weakest'. She said she doesn't want to be famous, or be the smartest, or to be envied by others.

The other six didn't treat her as weak, actually. They never made her feel weak. They treated her fairly, as an equal. The seven of them were good friends. Megara West, the smartest, was the head of the class. Irene Brooks, the prettiest, was the most known and is often mistaken as their leader. Hazel McGregor, the liveliest, was the life of the class. Moria Morgan, the kindest, was their heart. Jae Allister, the most cunning and Seth Archer, the most charming was both their passkey to everything. And lastly, Tate Flanagan was their strength.

They were like an organized FBI unit if they're not students, to everyone's amazement. They fit into each other like puzzle pieces. Like they were meant to compliment each other's flaws with their own skills. Probably at some point, someone joked that if the seven of them were to become a crime group, they'd be unstoppable.

The other 6 was incredibly skilled at their expertise. Moria, on the other hand, had no definite skill. Sure, she does well at everything, but the others were excellent. She's too smart to be an average student, but too average to be an elite student.

The principal took notice of this, no matter how the other 6 covered up for her. After several discussions with her parents and teachers, it was decided that she had to be dropped back to her average class. The others defended her, refusing to let her be dropped back.

And they cannot do anything about that either.

Moria told them to let it go. She told them that it was fine. That she'll work her way back again. She told them all of those with determination on her face, a smile on her trembling pale lips, and tears on her eyes.

After that heartbreaking talk, they planned an out-of-town party for Moria. Just the seven of them, in one of Megara's villas outside town. It was a 2 day stay, and they planned to return exactly a day before Spring Ball.

The trip went smoothly.

But on the night of the Ball, tragedy struck. Moria died. Her younger brother, Zion Morgan, went missing shortly after her corpse had been found.

A search party was organized to find Zion, but they never found him. A conclusion was even formed, claiming that Zion Morgan killed his older sister and left town to hide. The police investigated this, but found no evidence that Zion killed his sister. Besides, he had no motive, and there were witnesses that proved his innocence. The remaining 6 students from the Lucky 7 was dispersed and dropped back to different classes after the incident. A little part of the blame was pointed to them, because the authorities suspected that something must've happened during the trip that lead to Moria's death. They refused to talk about anything about her and they avoided each other since then. They were held back for a year.

A month after that incident, news that Zion was found spread all over the town. Of course, news and rumors travel faster than light here in this small town. The police didn't give up on finding him, but they gave up on solving Moria's case.
