I'm in computing class and we have a substitute. So today Alex finally gets to class on time, "Ooo, substitute! No work today" he says as he sits down. He looks at my glasses sitting on my desk. My glasses are pretty normal, black wide frames. "You have glasses? I didn't know that" he says and he picks them up and wears them. I look up to see what he looks like with them on. He looks like he has been made for glasses, they fit him so well. "Aren't I pretty?" he asks as he pretends to flip his imaginary hair. When he does that I can't help but laugh. "You look really nice, way better than me. Maybe you should keep them" I say.
"Don't say that I'm sure you look beautiful in glasses" he says as he takes off my glasses, "Try them on so I can see what you look like". I take them from his hands and I slowly put them on my face, when I look up he smiles. "You look really nice with glasses, I don't know why you don't wear them all the time," he says. I quickly remove them from my face, "I have a reason for everything". "Whats your reason?" he asks and I look at him. "I don't like keeping eye contact," I say, "Is that why you always look away from me?" he asks and I nod my head. He gave me an understanding face and he smiled, "Well one-day I'm going to make you look at me for a whole minute" he says. I laugh and we continued to talk for the rest of the class.
