We walk outside and head towards the park in the center of the neighborhood. This is like a hangout spot. You can see a lot of kids here. And I know every single kid's name. They know my name as well. While walking to the park Sasha tells me something, "By the way Tiffany has been trying to date the guys that have been having a crush on you. I don't know why but she's not succeeding". I couldn't help but laugh, she is really trying to be the popular girl she never could be. But I guess that's just Beth's influence, I don't know why they are so obsessed to be like me. Or to have my life, Tiffany never shown any interest in trying to be like me until she became friends with Beth. Beth has this weird idea of being a popular kid or girl.
I don't know it has something to do with wearing the girliest clothes I've ever seen. And I guess that also has to do with dating the cutest guy in the neighborhood. Which none of them are cute. that's why I was never interested in them, but I wasn't interested in dating in general so. I walk over to the park and sit on a picnic bench with Sasha. All the kids seem to notice that I'm back and they begin to whisper to themselves about my return. I ignore them because honestly, I'm not here for that. Before you know it a boy named Greg walks over to our table. "Oh, Cara! Long time no sees. Came back for me?" he says, Greg was one of the boys who had a crush on me and he is very forward. "Shut-up Greg I'm not here for you, I've heard a lot of things have changed since I've left. So I came here to see for myself." I say and Sasha giggles to herself.
"If you don't mind Greg, can you move your bloated head. We can't see anything past that thing" says Sasha and I start laughing. Sasha has the funniest sense of humor, I'm so happy that Beth didn't take her from me. "Who are you guys looking for? Anyone important? Because the most important thing is already here" he says as he points to himself. "No boy, if you don't move your jagged looking body from my sight. There's going to be a problem" Sasha says as she shoos him away with her hands. Greg moves out the way it sits with us and we just have a conversation. Suddenly from the corner of my eye, I notice Tiffany walking towards the park. She has no idea I'm here.
