I invited Beth and her family over for dinner. This way she can't hide from me and my questions. When her family gets here she smiles and hugs me like we were friends. My parents tell me to go and show her around our house. But I completely ignore them and bring her to my room. "I hear from Tiffany you were looking for me", she says as she looks around my room and checks my closet. She seems surprised and almost impressed by my clothes. Her clothes seem really tacky and she's wearing the ugliest color beige top I've ever seen. "So it's true," I say, "What's true?" she asked
"That Tiffany is your maid"
She rolls her eyes, "What do you want Cara?" She crosses her arms.
"You know exactly what I want", I say my voice stern.
"I haven't gotten the slightest clue what you mean," she says with a smile
I don't know why but I sensed her lying to me. "Don't forget but you're in my turf now" I tell her.
"Yeah and I got your old one"
I laugh, "Last time I checked you're not so popular there right now"
"Not after what you did. But people like me now"
"Really? They like you enough to call you wannabe queen?"
Beth's face falls flat and the smile she once had is now gone.
"Who told you that?", She demands.
"It doesn't matter who told me that, what matters is that I still know things, you don't"
"No, you don't"
"Yes, I do. You may think you have my turf but I am still in full control and you know it! Just one word for me and I can make your life and everyday hell"
Her straight face suddenly drops to a surprise and almost scared expression. "Cara, what do you want?"
"I want you to leave me alone, or else"
"Or else what?", Her tone slightly determined to test me
"Do you really want to go there?" I ask her
