We arrived at the port shortly. Even though it was midday no one seemed to be around here. "Shouldn't it be like crowded with people and ships in here? " I asked curiously. This place looked like it was drawn out of some zombie invasion movie. Trash was scattered around and it looked abandoned.

"It was crowded with people and ships. But, approximately 4 years ago, this place was locked down as the new port was opened. Everyone preferred the port with newest machinery." Elyssa started to walk towards the docks.

"That's when random criminals and gangs decided to use this place as a hideout. A neutral ground where they can meet up. " Elyssa continued her explanation. Now we were standing in a zone which was surrounded by dock boxes. It looked like the dead end in a labyrinth.

Elyssa looked at me and then pointed to the back of the docks where small gap could be seen. "Go and hide there. They shouldn't know that you are here." She whispered.

I looked at her confused but still made my way to that gap. "They?" I asked and Elyssa walked closer to me. The distance between us was subsiding as she was moving closer to me. I was pressed between her and that small gap. She put her hand on the back of my waist and pushed me forward.

"It is bigger than it looks trust me." She said. I wasn't moving so her breath fanned against my skin as she said those words. I looked at her still uncertain about getting in there. But Elyssa nodded at me and offered a small smile.

If I moved my hand forward I could have touched her lips. Finally, I gave in and walked into that dark and small place. I would have never walked in here if it was up for me. But the position I was in didn't leave me any room for arguing. Not just the criminals and guns stuff. But also, Elyssa who was standing to close and offering smiles at me while my body was losing its shit.

"You didn't answer my question: Who are they?" I asked as I made myself comfortable in the hole. She stuck her head inside blocking the small source of light. "Oh, you know just killers and bombers and stuff, " she said and chuckled when my eyes went big.

Voices could be heard from the other side of this strange place. Elyssa's face hardened and she motioned for me to be quiet as she moved away from the entry of the gap.

She moved old piece of metal to cover it halfway so it wouldn't seem unusual. I scooted closer to the exit of this 'place' to see what's going on.  As voices got closer I saw Elyssa straighten her pose and put something in her ear. I think, it was a small microphone. She stood straight, with one of her hands on her pistol and 2 other guys entered my vision zone.

One of them was tall with a case in his hand. His hair was made into military cut and he was looking straight at Elyssa. Second guy wasn't that tall but he was well built with his blonde hair looking like he just woke up.

Under both of their eyes Elyssa was standing rather calm. "Have you read today's news?" She asked.

"Yes, I have read them. They were rather unpleasant." Guy with blonde hair answered. With that said they nodded at each other and made their way towards me. I quickly moved back to keep myself hidden.

They went to the container which was near me and tall guy opened it. They stepped inside and I couldn't see them after that. But from the sounds of it, it looked like they were arguing about the amount of money and the deal.

"You are all set. Info about location and time will be given to you soon." Elyssa spoke rather professionally. That made me wonder how many times she has said those words. How many times she had shot someone. She was part of criminal organization after all, and was probably faced with this stuff at least once a week.

"Now that this deal is done, let's talk about the other one." The voice broke my train of thoughts and I started to listen to their conversation.

"What's the other one?" Elyssa asked with uninterest. I heard someone chuckle and then continue with saying. " You know the date. Me, you, city lights and beautiful restaurant."

I scooped closer to the outside so I can hear Elyssa's answer. "How about no. I think we both know why you wanna go on a date. Besides, jocks without brains aren't really my type." Elyssa said with mockery at the end.

Meanwhile, they walked out of the dock and the tall guy locked it up while blonde one was smiling stupidly.

"What kind of man are your type then, my dear?" Blonde asked as he looked at Elyssa.

"My type is only woman, Eliot." She said it and glanced here. I hoped that she didn't see me. Cause I was holding back a smile at that moment.
