Talking is something we take for granted. Like sure I can talk with you, and you too. But can I talk with someone that makes my words die out?
As Gerald and Sofi were looking at the server screen, I kept thinking about all the times I talked about nonsense, maybe I used out all of my words then.
I just gave them the password to the server. It was on the loading screen for far too long and I thought that they are going to attack me if it kept loading any longer.
"Entered the main data room." Elyssa's muffled voice came through my earpiece. She got held up with Corey who was asking tips on how to knock out someone. He was a really bad gang member, even by my low standards.
"Here it is." Sofi's voice bought me back to reality. The server's screen opened to many numbered files, I walked closer to the screen.
There were many folders, mostly filled with gruesome shit, but from the looks on Sofi and Gerald's faces I could see that they were at loss of what files to look for.
I cleared my throat, grabbing their attention, and moved forward to get closer to the screen. "Nico always first checked this one, probably their agenda or something." I said with fake confidence in my voice.
Normal Olivia was scared shitless. But your gang fling Olivia was confident and not taking any shit from you.
Gerald opened the folder that I pointed too. It showed the plan and had a window, like a chatroom, it showed their real time activity.
"That I could have figured out by myself too." Sofi mumbled and I rolled my eyes at her. Pushing her away from the computer, I took over the keyboard and pressed few shortcuts, to open the gangs inventory locations, their next drug deal, and number of their total weapons.
"I bet you could have figured out too, but it would probably take you an extra week." I said to her with a smile. Sofi huffed and looked at Gerald. He was looking at screen with so much concentration that it actually scared me.
"Great they have another deal in an hour. Call others up we are interfering." He said making me get a micro heart attack.
"Shit, shit, talk them out of it." Elyssa said on the other end of the line. Gerald was walking to get out of the room. I quickly moved in front of him, blocking his exit.
"What do you want?" He asked harshly. "You sure you want to attack now?" I said and immediately wanted to slap myself in the face.
"Yes, yes now if you don't have any other questions, move aside." He said and grabbed my shoulder to push me away.
"The leader won't be there nor will any one of power." I said louder than necessary, and managed to turn both of their attentions to me.
"How do you know that?" Sofi asked, while walking towards me. "That's not something a gang fling will know."
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
"I, uh, convinced someone to take over the deal. They are bringing in the cocaine, and I, uh, need it. I need it." I said and looked at Sofi.
She still looked suspiciously at me, "The market price is too high, and I am kinda getting kicked out of my house at the moment." I said with hopes of killing all the doubts about me.
Gerald sighed and rubbed his head. "Fine, then you must show me everything you know about their plans for attack." He said and pointed at the computer. I quickly made my way there and went through some lists, Julianna already showed me where everything was, I just wanted to buy some extra time. "Nearly there." Elyssa's voice said.
