Chasing Love

Chapter 5

Today, today is the day. The day of Chase and I's date. He told me to meet him at Landmark the local theater. He decided to take me to see Tammy staring Mellissa Mccarthy. I love Mellissa Mccarthy. She is a hilarious actress, in almost every movie she is in. The movie went pretty well. Chase was being a gentleman and didn't make any type of move. We just sat and watched a movie like friends would.

"Did you like the movie?" Chase asked trying to start a conversation.

"Yeah, it was great." he chuckled. We walked outside and we decided to go eat at Steak n' Shake. Chase saw a group of guys walking out of the resturant and he grabbed my hand, ugh, he is like any other guy, well, hand holding isn't that bad.... We got inside and I started to scroll through my FaceBook while Chase did whatever he was doing on his phone. When the waitress came back with our food she totally flonted her boobs for Chase to stare at, he might have glanced, but, any guy would.

We finally got back to the apartment and we were laughing. Turned the key and opened the door and he leaned in close to kiss me. I turned my eyes to the apartment and made a little white lie.

"Maverick! My little puppy dog." Then, I ran behind the couch and hid there for around ten seconds then walked back and thanked Chase again were he leaned in again and I shut the door like I didn't notice. Man, maybe he is like every other guy. I really don't know, exactly. Ugh. Maybe, just maybe, I should talk to Miles about this. But, he isn't even here so, I can't right this second.

"Hey sleepy head! Get up!" Parker yelled in my ears as he shook me awake.

"What the hell? It's Saturday."

"Ana is here. Remember? You are staying there but you two need to go to the mall first."

"Right." I hoped out of bed grabbed clothes and my make-up tote and headed for the bathroom to shower. After, my make-up was done I grabbed my bag and purse and left with Ana to go to the mall. The mall was full of people. Luckily, not as much in the stores we went in. It took Ana hours and hours to find a new wardrobe.

Ana and I were so tired, once we got done doing the clothes we fell asleep on her bedroom floor. I woke up with a major headache. As if I had a hangover. I grabbed my medicine bag and walked to the bathroom. I grabbed one of the cute little disposable cups, filled it with water and downed two Ibuprofen. My phone buzzed so I ran to go check it.

"Yeah?" It's Abi my BFF that I only see when she goes to her Nana's. Who lives by Miliken.

"Hey, I am coming to your house in an hour."  Then, she hung up. I gathered my things, left Ana a short note then had Parker pick me up. I super cleaned the house and when I was done the door bell rang. DING-DONG!  She's here! She gave me a big hug as soon as I opened the door.

"Sam! You look great."

"Thanks, you do too."

"Hey, there is a party tonight. Wanna come?"

"Yeah, sure."

"You have to bring a date."

"Oh, who's yours?"

"Adrian."

"Cool, I guess I will bring Chase." I got out my phone and texted him.

Hey.

Hey.

There is a party tonight and you have to bring a date, you in?

Yeah, I will be at your house at 8.

Ok.

"So...?"

"He's in."

"Yay!" We spent the rest of the day getting ready. I didn't think she would make me look hot, but she did. I knew Chase would like it, but, it did ake me feel like a total slut.  It's 7:59 so Chase and Adrian should be here soon. I went to sit on the couch and as soon as I did BAM the doorbell goes off. I open the door and let the boys in. I go and retake my seat. Chase sat down next to me and put his arm around me. He is defiently the overprotective and jealous type. I don't realy like those types but with him, it's totally hot.

The party was starting to lighten down by now. I found Chase and he was obviously drunk. He tried to kiss me again so I swung around and walked the other way. He followed and grabbed my hand and spun me around to face him.

"Where are you going?" That was the classic sign of a drunk guy wanting to have sex.

"I am going to go play beer-pong."

"No, your going to kiss me." He puckered his lips, so I shoved another girl in front of him to kiss or have sex with. We aren't even a couple so it doesn't even matter. I found the beer-pong table and teamed up with some chic named Carla. Carla and I kept winning until the party was officially over. We exchanged numbers in silence and parted ways. Around two seconds later I got a text from her. We ended up texting for hours. We both fell asleep texting each other.

I woke up with a hang over and Miles in my bed.
