Water Bound [Diabolik Lovers]

Chapter Two

~ Sirena's P.O.V ~

I wake up with a jolt. I'm in a soft queen sized bed in a room that is three times the size of my old one at the church. And the best part? Everything's blue! If you can't tell, blue is my favourite colour. I know, I know, it's a bit cliche for a mermaid but hey, it's not my fault. I know I should probably go and find Yui but I can't resist looking around my new room.

I push the covers back to reveal myself wearing a short and revealing night dress. Eww! Which pervert changed me!? My brown eyes dart around the room, looking for something that will cover me up. Not finding anything, I sigh and get up from the bed. There are three doors in my room. I can say for sure that one of them leads to the hallway, but what about the other two?

I walk to the one on my right and open it to reveal an ensuite bathroom. I gasp in shock. I've never actually seen one of these before. Wow... why do I feel so dirt poor now? There's a separate shower and bath as well as a toilet and sink. There's a big mirror above the sink that is also a cupboard full of toiletries such as toothpaste, face wash and extra toilet rolls.

In the other room is a reasonably sized walk in wardrobe. Somebody has already taken the liberty of putting away my clothes, hanging them up and folding them away in draws. I wonder who it was... I'll have to thank them when I find out. I'm about to get out a change of clothes before I hear a knock on my door. I rush back into my main room and open it for whoever knocked. To my surprise, it's Reiji.

"Miss Komori plea-" I cut him off before he can say anything else.

"Just call me by my name, Sirena." I tell him politely, "Or if you like you can call me Rena, I don't care which one but please do not refer to me as Miss Komori." I ask. Reiji nods before continuing on.

"As you wish." He sighs, "Please change into the uniform on the sofa over there. We will be leaving for night school in an hour." He points to the sofa behind me before he leaves and I close the door behind him, making my way to the other side of the room.

The uniform is ugly.

That's all I can say without vomiting.

I scoop it up from its position on the sofa and take it into my wardrobe. I'm going to have to make a few changes. I don't see why I can't, The Sakamaki's have all done it. Even Reiji, if you can believe it. I keep the blazer and remove the ruffles from the skirt. I also take off the gold buttons so the skirt just looks like a normal black skirt. I keep the white shirt but don't button it up all the way so I don't have to wear the red ribbon. Instead, I put on a black and maroon stripped tie and black opaque tights. I get rid of the black knee high socks and swap out the brown loafers for black converse high tops.

With only ten minutes left, I braid my hair into a fishtail plait and bring it over my shoulder before securing it with a black hair tie. I grab my backpack which contains a few things I might need like a hairbrush, bottle of water, notepads and my pencil case. Satisfied with my appearance, I exit my room and find my way to the entrance hall. Everyone except Yui is there. I wonder where she could be.
