Chapter Six

- Sirena's P.O.V -

Eventually, both Yui and I fell asleep on the sofa but a very angry Subaru barged into my room like five minutes ago and woke us up from a perfectly blissful sleep, informing us that Reiji has asked us to get sorted for school immediately. My hair is still near from when Yui did it for me and I already have my school uniform on so I'm practically ready to go. Unfortunately, Yui isn't. She can't find her shoes anywhere and I honestly can't be bothered waiting for her any longer. Reiji will hit the roof if I'm late.

"Ok Yui, I'm going downstairs!" I call out to her as I leave her room, "I wish you luck, you're going to need it..." I snicker as she lets out a sound of distress. I hurry down the hallway and make my way to the stairs. All six brothers are already waiting not so patiently for us at the bottom. I frown as I check my watch. I'm one minute late. Crap.... I descend the stairs carefully as to not trip and fall while the brothers are watching me like a goddamned hawk. Now that would just be embarrassing.

"You're late Miss Sirena." Reiji glares.

"I apologise Reiji, Yui can't find her shoes so I was helping her out," I apologise, "but I realised the time and tried to get down here as soon as possible. I guess my efforts just weren't enough!" I explain dramatically, putting the back of my hand to my forehead, leaning back slightly and pretending to faint.

"Do not let it happen again." Reiji sneers, not looking impressed with my theatrics at all. The triplets however... Kanato is grinning behind his Teddy, Laito is chuckling to himself about it and Ayato is snickering at Reiji's expense. I send then a devilish, cheeky grin before turning to the stairs to see Yui coming down them.

She's wearing neon pink trainers.

"Where are your school shoes Yui?" I laugh quietly as Reiji sends her an annoyed glare. I see her swallow thickly.

"That's a good question..." she whispers back, looking super nervous. I roll my eyes at her silliness and we follow the vampire brothers to their fancy ass limousine so we can attempt to get to school on time.

~ At School ~

Honestly, Biology is the worst.

All this talk about dissecting a frog or a bulls eye makes me incredibly queasy. Today, we're dissecting a set of sheep's lungs. Yay... not. Once again, I'm paired up with Laito and he will not cease his ridiculous wittering about seeing me naked and drenched in blood.

"Oh how sexy you would look...."
"I'd lick every drop off of your body...."
"You'd be begging me for more...."

Gross.
Perverted.
Mind.

He really makes me shiver.
Anywhow, Laito is the one doing all the dissecting while I just stand back and (not) watch. Dear lord this room stinks. I pluck up the courage to take a peak at what Laito is doing. After all, I do actually want to pass my exams.

It was a mistake....

Laito has his hand shoved down one of the bronchioles and I can see his hand wriggling around inside the left lung. I begin to wretch dramatically, clutching my throat as if I can't breathe. That was grim. Laito barks a laugh at my antics and rolls his eyes at me.

"It's only a little blood Doll-chan." He tilts his head as if it doesn't mean anything to him. Of course it doesn't Sirena, he's a freakin' vampire for heaven's sake!

"Laito... I'm not a doll." I sigh, getting tired now. This day really is wearing me out. First it was math, then history and now biology. I'm surprised I haven't passed out yet to be perfectly honest.
