Lord Percival quickly established his reign in the Middle Territories, sending a rider to the capitol the first night. The king, unsure of what to make of it, allowed Percival to keep his position until he understood the story fully. All who knew the king’s tendencies already had the knowledge that the action would take a while.
Percival’s first action in his seat of power was to name himself the Lordslayer until he could be officially honored. No one objected, not even Damon Dwarfslayer, for he had his mind set on the planning of something more important: the retrieval of his family’s sword.
