Chapter 6: New Students

Monday

Third Person POV

It is Monday, every students in the class are seated on the chairs. Mrs Ahn came into the room to get the projects and announce something.

"Please seat properly! We have new students starting from today"

All the girls hopes that those we're good looking boys and vice versa.

The 2 students came by in a civilian attire, they stand infront of the class and bowed. The girls are gossiping back and forth.

"Hey! The right guy is handsome omg"

"No the other one is more handsome"

"Both of them! But I am still into Mingyu oppa"

Girls continue to gossip in a less noise way then Mrs. Ahn asked the two students to introduce their selves.

"Hi I'm Chwe Hansol Vernon! I am half Korean and half American but I'm not a dog. That's just my breed uhm I mean my nationality"

The whole class laughed at him even Mrs. Ahn

"Yahh seems like we had a joker student here" Haneul whispred to Minhye

Minhye POV

I am used to these girls, when they saw a handsome guy they turned into like fangirls. What a nice personality right?

"Yahh seems like we had a joker student here" Haneul whispered to me

"Yeah" I said in a monotonous tone

After Vernon introduce himself, the other student went in and stand infront of the class.

Omg Jeon Wonwoo?? What is he doing here?

"Do you know him?" Haneul asked me. Did I say it oud loud?

"Oh he's Mingyu's old schoolmate" I replied

"How did you know him?"

"When we did the school project at his house"

Everyone went on silence and Wonwoo started the introductory.

"Hi! Jeon Wonwoo right here. Me and Mingyu are old schoolmates" he pointed to Mingyu and smiled

Ohhh everyone in the class seems amazed. Wonwoo and Vernon took their seats. On his way to the chair, Wonwoo tapped me in my shoulder. "Nice to see you again" he whispered and I just smiled

Wonwoo POV

I feel like this school year will gonna be fun.

"Wonwoo oppa? Can you eat with us this lunch?" a random girl asked me

"Uhm"

"He's having his lunch with me" Mingyu butt in

"Oh yes we used to eat lunch together even in our old school" I replied. Thanks Gyu!

The teacher tapped the table too hard in order to get the class attention. Everyone gets silent as they wait for Mrs. Ahn to speak.

"I also have another announcement, we'll be having-"

"A slumber party?" Soonyoung butt in and the rest of the class laughed

"No! We'll be having a talent show and this is for your Music class, the winner will be having a Gucci bag and watch as a reward. And an additional 5000 won as a price. I will also give incentives to the winners. This is open to everyone"

Woww. Everyone in the class was amused and amazed.

Seungcheol POV

I wanted to join the said activity, and one thing that I can do well is to rap. So I signaled Jihoon and Soonyoung to meet me at the canteen after the class.

-Canteen-

"Why did you call us?" the two asked me with a confusing look in their eyes

"Let us join the talent show, I will rap, Jihoon will compose the song and sing, Soonyoung will sing too. After polishing the song, we will put a choreography on it"

"There's no way I'm doing that" Jihoon irritably said

"Please! I wanted to join too, one of my dream is performing on stage" Seungcheol pleaded

"Yes please" Soonyoung supported me

The two of them kept on debating whether to accept my offer or not. I am just patiently waiting for their decision until Jihoon faced me and gesticulated a thumbs up pose.

"Alright lets win this!" I excitingly said

Vernon POV

The talent show seems interesting, the prize is just too exciting. While it is break time, I used this time to get to know some students, I don't know any of them even one.

"Hi I am Vernon, what's your name?" I asked the guy infront of me

"Hello! My name's Wen Junhui" he turned around

"Nice meeting you Jun!"

"Hi guys I am Mingyu and the guy seating beside you is Wonwoo" Mingyu joined the conversation

"Yup I know, he just introduce himself a while ago" I said

"Uhm Do you guys have any plans on joining the talent show?" I added

"It depends" Jun acclaimed

We exchange conversations and I have fun talking to them. It is the only first time that we talked but I feel comfortable with them.

Minhye POV

To be honest, I still care for Seungcheol. I know he will join this talent show because one of his dream is to rap and perform infront of everyone onstage. I used to be his first audience before.

"Hey are you joining?" Haneul asked me

"Nah I don't have any talents aside from capturing aesthetic photos"

"Hey that's a talent also!" Mingyu joined the conversation

I greeted him and asked "Lol it's not btw are you joining?"

"Hmmm" he shrugged

"Hey Minhye! Nice to meet you again" Wonwoo shakes my hand

"Nice to meet you too!" I smiled at him and Haneul pulled me near her and whispered something excitingly.

"Hey hey ask him but if he had a girlfriend"

I move a little away from her and gestured a no.

"I told you it's not proper to ask guys like that!" I muttered

Mingyu and Wonwoo noticed us.

"Uhm are you guys okay?" Mingyu asked

"Yes we are" I said

"No I just wanted to ask Wonwoo if-"

"if what?" Wonwoo answered

"if you had a girlfriend?"

I just put my hand on my head showing a shameful face. Haneul is like this as always!

"I'm sorry about my friend" I explained

"It's okay btw I don't have" Wonwoo replied

Haneul and Wonwoo just laughed while me and Mingyu looked at each other's eyes and shrugged.
