Life was good for the Griffins. It was the Summer of 1995 and Paul was only a few months old. He had been the wonderful dream of a baby that everyone wants, but he had also been the tiny little offspring of satan that every baby is from time to time.
The family wanted to take Paul on his first outing, so they decided to take him to the Oakville Zoo, about a fourty-five minute drive from their home.
They woke up on a Tuesday very, very tired. Paul had been crying every night and his family was having a tough time trying to rest. They got out of bed, and had a nice breakfast together. After eating some scrambled eggs, they all got dressed, packed some food in a lunch box, and then strapped Paul into his car seat. The rest of the family got in the car, and then Anne looked back and saw Paul. She looked up from him and noticed something on the window. It was a circular white sticker with some backwards words on it. She wrote the words in the opposite way in her head and said out loud, "Baby on Board". She smiled.
