"Okay, schedule for today," Jin said as he set a bowl of oatmeal in front of each of the boys. "Taehyung, Jimin, and I will be going to the Pre-Kindergarten Camp after we finish getting ready."
"Yay!" The twin's both cheered through their mouthfuls of oatmeal as Jin sat down with his own bowl.
"Namjoon," the man looked up from his breakfast, "you will drop Jungkook off at the center and Yoongi and Hoseok at Abuela Martinez's on your way to work, right?"
Namjoon nodded as he swallowed his oatmeal. "That would be correct."
"I can show you what I learned then!" Yoongi exclaimed excitedly. The eight-year-old was referring to how he had discovered a piano in Abuela Martinez's garage, and after seeing how interested the boy was, the elderly lady had her son bring it into the house for Yoongi to play around with. She even went as far as to purchase a simple lesson book for Yoongi to learn from.
Namjoon smiled at the boy as Jin continued. "After Jimin and Taehyung's camp, we will go by the dance academy to register Jimin and Hoseok for classes this year, you two are still wanting to dance right?" The two boys nodded. "Jimin in ballet and Hoseok in hip-hop still?"
Jimin quickly swallowed his bite of oatmeal. "Can I be in Hobi's class too? I really liked it at the we-sat-ul!"
Hoseok's eyes lit up. "That would be fun!"
"Jimin, if we sign you up for hip-hop too, you won't be in Hobi's class yet. You'll go to the first class and he'll go to the second class, so do you really want to do hip-hop still?" Jimin tilted his head in thought for a few seconds before nodding definitively. "Okay, then I'll sign you up for hip-hop too." Jin shot Namjoon the look that meant 'we need to rework our budget again'. "Anyone else want to make any changes?" Jin looked around at each of the boys. Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jimin just kept taking bites of oatmeal, Jungkook would scoop up some then giggle while watching it drip off the spoon back into the bowl, while Taehyung pushed his oatmeal around with a slight pout. "What's up Tae Tae?"
"I wanna do something, too." The five-year-old grumbled before taking a bite of his breakfast.
"Well what do you want to do, we can find it for you?" Namjoon offered, but the soon to be kindergartener just shrugged his shoulders. "Well, as soon as you figure it out, let us know."
Taehyung nodded and Jin went back to announcing the schedule for the day. "After Jimin and Hoseok are registered, Jimin, Taehyung, and I will go to the preschool. After the day is over for us, we'll go pick up Yoongi and Hoseok, where Yoongi can play his song for me," Yoongi smiled as Jin said that, "and Namjoon, you'll pick up the pizza for movie night on your way home from work."
Namjoon stood up to rinse his bowl out in the sink. "What kind of pizzas are we getting tonight?"
Before Jin could reply, all five of the boys started yelling out what kind of pizza they wanted. Jin laughed as he asked, "Did you get that?"
Namjoon chuckled as he placed his bowl and spoon in the dishwasher. "You might have to translate for me."
"One cheese and one pepperoni."
"Got it~" Namjoon replied as he walked back to the table, leaning down to give Jin a quick kiss.
Jin looked up to see that Jimin and Taehyung were both taking the last bites of their breakfast. "Are you done?" The twin's nodded, Jimin licking his lips to get the remnants of his oatmeal while Taehyung scraped his spoon against his bowl to get the absolute last bite. "Then off to brush your teeth so we can go."
It only took a few weeks into the school year for Taehyung to figure out what he wanted to do. The day he came home talking about how fun it was playing soccer in PE, the entire family knew that he wanted to be a soccer player. That night, Jin went online to search for local soccer leagues, finding the Conway league of the Arkansas Rush soccer program, one of the top programs. He was sad to find that he had missed the deadline to sign Taehyung up for the fall season, meaning he would have to wait until registration opened up for the spring season. Taehyung did not take to kindly to that piece of information. One would think the world was ending the way he reacted.
