"I don't get why all of us had to come to the football game just to see Yoongi's girlfriend."

"She's not my girlfriend!" Jungkook, having started middle school this year, was going through his stereotypical preteen boy phase of never wanting to leave his room and not wanting to spend extended periods of time with his family. So, he was definitely upset over being dragged to the first football game of the season to see Sophia cheer.

"Jungkook, Sophia is a friend of the entire family." Jin said as Namjoon purchased tickets for all of them at the entrance to the field. "Therefore, we will all be supporting her at her first high school football game."

"Plus, I'll get to see the marching band!" Taehyung exclaimed, buzzing with excitement at getting to see what he would be experiencing in three years' time.

"I'm here for the dance team." Jimin stated as they walked through the gate. "I'm planning on trying out in the spring for eighth grade."

"That's great, Jimin!" Namjoon commented as the family walked up the bleachers to find a spot, Yoongi ended up leading the way in order to sit 'exactly where Sophia could see them'. "You'll definitely make it!"

"I don't know~" Hoseok commented, sitting down while Yoongi leaned over the fence at the front of the bleachers to speak to Sophia for a few minutes before she had to go. "Not to be mean, because you are an amazing dancer, but Izzy says they've never had a male member of the dance team."

"If they can have male cheerleaders, then they can have male dance members." Taehyung gestured to the lone male cheerleader stretching on the track below them.

"Plus, how could they turn him down when he has nine years of experience ranging across five genres." Jin said, wrapping his arm around Jimin's shoulders. At the beginning of that previous summer, right after the annual dance recital, Jimin had been invited to join the Modern dance class and the Pointe Tech class, which was amazing for two reasons: only the best dancers in the academy were invited (since Jimin was only 12, he was also one of the youngest dancers in both classes, which made his family even more proud) and very few male dancers were chosen for the Pointe class. Due to this, Jin had been bragging on and about Jimin as often as he could. "You'll do great when tryouts come."

Soon enough, Sophia had to leave to prepare to cheer on the football players as they ran out, making Yoongi have to join the rest of his family. "So..." Hoseok took the opportunity to tease his older brother. "You never seemed to care about watching Sophia cheer before..." Hoseok wiggled his eyebrows at Yoongi.

"Well, you know that the Jr. High games aren't as important." Yoongi said, clearing his throat afterward, but his entire family could see the way his cheeks had started to turn pink.

"Suuuure~" Hoseok teased him further.

"Hobi, leave him alone." Jin said, making Yoongi grateful...but then he kept speaking. "So, what if Yoongi has a little crush now-"

"Dad!"

"He didn't tease you when all you talked about was Izzy."

Jungkook snorted. "What do you mean 'when', she's still all he talks about." The rest of the brothers laughed as Hoseok reached back to swat at the ten-year-old.

"Hey, Hobi, why don't you go sit with Izzy for the game?" Namjoon pointed down the bleachers where he could see his son's girlfriend sitting with a few of her friends from the ninth-grade dance team, attempting to prevent any further possible arguments between the boys.
