The Hospital

Layla pov:

I sat there on the ground after I called and ambulance. I cried as I held Tal in my arms. I heard someone running over to us but i didnt bother to look. I heard someone panting from running and just stood right there. I looked up to see Adi. He got down on his knees and put his hands on where he got shot. "Tal, Tal hey bro you gotta stay with me" he said. I could hear an ambulance a block away. "Tal, baby please, be okay please" I said with my head on his chest and tears running down my face. The ambulance was here. I stood up and cried as I watched them get Tal to help. Adi came over and stood next to me. I looked up at him for a second then hugged him out of no where. He hugged me back and patted my back. "Hey, hey, hey" he said. "He's gonna be ok" I broke the hug and looked at him. "He saved my life Adi, he got shot for me, how the fuck do you know he is gonna be ok i don't even know where he got shot" I said as I walked back and forth with my hands on my head. "Hey, layla, layla, calm down, let's just go to the hospital and wait for some answers ok?" I nodded as I wiped a tear off my cheek. I got into the car I knew was tals. We drove to the hospital and sat in the waiting room. I sat there, all you could hear there was the chitters of the people in the room. I sat there in the chair, Adi next to me. My feet up on the chair my arms wrapped around my legs. I sat there quiet I didnt know what to think anymore. Is he ok, is he gone, is hurt so bad that he cant walk or.. I sighed til I saw ethan run in and neal infront of me. "Hey are you ok hunny?" I didnt answer, I sat and put my head on my knees and started crying again.

Adi pov:
"Just leave her be" I said to ethan. He nodded and sat down next to me. "Have you got anything yet" he said. I looked at layla, she still had her head on her knees. I could tell she wanted to cry her heart out. I sighed and looked back at ethan. I shook my head "nothing." After a bit I looked at layla, she had her head on Ethan's shoulder, she was sleeping. Ethan looked at her on his shoulder then looked at me. I sighed. It has been about 2 and a half hours we have been waiting and still nothing. "Its already 12:30, why the fuck are they taking so long?" I said underneath my breath. I closed my eyes for a second to just relax from everything that was going on. I opened my eyes right after. I saw a nurse walking up to layla, ethan and me. I stood up as soon as she came. "Is he alright?" I said quickly. "He is in critical condition but he's gonna be ok" I sighed in relief. I shook layla a bit to wake her up. She woke up slowly and looked up at me in confusion. I turned to the nurse. "You said we can have people see him but just one at a time right?" She nodded. I looked at layla. "Come on you get to see him first" she jumped up an hugged me as quick as she could.

Layla pov:

I get to see Tal after 2 hours of waiting. The nurse led me to the room tals in. I walked Tal sitting there sleeping soundly. I was happy he has okay but I just don't want to see him like this. I still don't know where got shot though. The nurse came in and stood next to me. "Where did they shoot him?" I said. Insted of telling me she walked up to tal and through the blanket off him a bit. There was a bandage wrapped about his side. She covered him back up and walked away. I sat down next to him. I sighed and looked at him. I sat there quiet, the only thing you could hear were the people in the halls. I laid my head on my knees and thought about the scenario over again. Who would do this, was it just for fun. I sighed and drifted off to sleep

Adi Pov:

The nurse told Ethan and I that we could go into tals room, I was hoping he was alright. Ethan and I walked into the room. Layla was sleeping next to him. Ethan went up to her and asked how she was doing. I looked at Tal. Machines hooked up him. They told me that he was gonna be ok after the surgery he had on his side. But I was still worried about him. We all sat in the room for about 30 minutes. Layla sitting on ethans lap asleep while hugging him. She was tired, it was about 2 in the morning. I was tired too but I just couldn't sleep. I sat there till I heard a groan. I looked up at Tal his head up and looked around. "Hey tal, how you doing buddy?" I said getting up. He sighed and looked over at layla. "Is she ok?" He questioned. I nodded and walked over to her. I shook her a bit to wake her up. She looked up at me and put her head on Ethan's chest. "Yea?" She said. I looked at Tal. She followed my gaze and saw Tal. she got up quickly and sat next to him. "Hi babe" Tal said slightly as he grabbed her hand. "How you doing?" He asked. "I'm fine, were all worried about you here" he chuckled. "I know, I know, but I'm ok" she sighed. "Its like 2 in the morning shouldn't you be at home?" She shook her head "I'm not going" she demanded. "But you have to go to school, there's only 2 weeks left" she shook her head. "Please, just go tomorrow" she sighed and nodded. Tal wave her closer to him. She came closer and he gave her a goodbye kiss. Which was kinda cringe btw.

Everyone said goodbye to tal then walked out of the hospital.I drove ethan home first then drove to layla's. She didnt say anything the whole ride home. "Hey, if you need anything just give me a call, alright?" she nodded and walked away. I sighed and drove home.
