What A Day

Layla Pov:

Important update at the end please read

I woke up to my alarm going off. I shut it off and stare at the ceiling. 'Today is gonna be horrible' I thought. I get up and sit on the edge of the bed. I look up to see my door open. My mom standing there. I look at her then look down and get up. I walk over to my closet and find an outfit.

I walked downstairs to eat something before going to school. I ate slowly then got up and grabbed my bag. "Little lay wait" I heard someone call me. Which I knew was my brother, he use to call me that when we were younger. I turned to him "what?" I asked. "Come here" he said opened his arms bringing me into a hug. I hugged him back tightly. "I love you lil sis" he said putting his head on mine. "I love you to."

We started walking til we saw Adi coming. I continue walking, I wanted to get the school day over so I could go see Tal.

Adi POV:

I walked next to Daniel. "Hows she doing" I asked. "She hasn't been saying much, she is really down" he said. "Well I mean I get why she is down, she saw her boyfriend get shot, and is now in the hospital" I said. We walked to school and went over to Michael and Anthony. I saw layla sit down at a bench and just be on her phone. Michael and Anthony walked over to us. "Hey, we heard about Tal is he ok?" they said. "Yea hes gonna be ok but, layla is just.." I sighed, I didnt know the word for it. "Just, watch her and dont mess with her, ok?" Daniel said. Michael and Anthony nodded and walked to class.

Layla pov:

5th period, right before lunch. I sat there just tapping my pencil on my desk the whole time, while trying not to fall asleep. The bell rang, I got up and put my things in my backpack and walked to the door. "Hey, layla can I talk to you?" I heard someone behind me say. I turned to my teacher. "The whole school heard about what happened to Tal and you, you doing alright?" I nodded and walk away.

I sat at the normal table we usually sit at, everyone was there except Tal. I sighed and put my head on my fist. Everyone looked at me. "What?"I said. "Tals gonna be ok lay" Daniel said. "I know that, im just worried about him." Ethan came over to me and turned me his way. "We all are worried about him, but the doctor said that he's gonna be alright" I sighed. They were right, maybe I was a bit to worried, but I just wanted to see him alright he is my boyfriend I love him I dont want to see him hurt. I sighed and put my head on my hands. Ethan patted my back and sighed.

Adi POV:

Layla was still sad, I know she loves my brother and he wouldnt want to see her like this. Everyone looked at each other and then looked back at layla with her head on her hands. I got up and went around the table. I hugged her from the back. "He's gonna be alright ok?" I said. She nodded and looked up at everyone. I let go and say back down.

Time Skip To After School

layla pov:

Finally school was over and I could see Tal and make sure he was doing ok. Daniel drove me to the hospital to see him. The nurse took us to his room then left. "Hey babe" I said as soon as Tal saw me. He smiled "hey" he said. I walked over and kissed him then sat in the chair next to him. "How you doing?" I said. "I'm doing ok, the doctor said i can get out by wendsday." That wasnt that far away. When he gets out I am gonna stay with him till he's better. "Good, I wanna see you outta, well here" he chuckled. I smiled at him,he smiled back.

I hung out with Tal all day, "you should get going dont you think?" He said. I shook me head, "no I'm staying" I demanded and crossed my arms. He looked at me, I frowned wanting to stay with him. he chuckled "you look so cute when you frown" I giggled "Its a gift, and I'm not going to school its boring and annoying" he looked at me. "We all know its boring and stupid but its our last 2 weeks of school, just enjoy it babe then were basically free from it unless you wanna go to college" I sighed, crossed my arms and frowned. he chuckled "don't give me puppy dog eyes" I looked at him in the eyes for a minute then gave up. "Fine, I'll go" I crossed my arms. He smirked. I looked at the time. Since you want me to go to school, I better get going, now rest I wanna see you out of here" " ok ill do that" I gave him a goodbye kiss and walked out of the hospital.

UPDATE OF CHARACTERS, ok so i thought the girl I chose for layla looked not right to me so I found a picture of a girl that I feel is better and looks like how I described her to be. So remember she a tomboy and she looks like this.

And I think I have some ideas of who Derrick is but my friend gave me one so I want some help she told me to use Chance Sutton
