After Larry had related everything that had happened, Lau was heartsick for him. But it was one of the few, maybe the only, things that he and Larry did not share. It made him jealous sometimes because he wanted to understand. But it also angered him because he didn't think Larry understood the gift he had with Aurelie. And now he did not know what to feel or think. Larry understood, he knew that now, but he walked away and out of Aurelie's life anyway. How could he do it? Laurent simply could not understand. He wanted to yelled at his twin, slap him, demand to know why, how, could throw her away like that. But all of

"K, bro," Lau said quietly, lightly patting Larry's cheek, "we gotta get some sleep."

"Yeah...yeah."

"Want to sleep here tonight??"

"Eh," then he pondered a moment, "yeah." Lau gave him a small, soft smile. "Oh, hey, you going to bed right now Lau?"

"Nah, half hour or so. You need to right now though." He knew his brother needed to sleep now, before his mind got rolling again.

"I' going to, no worries. Could you just put a few things together for Thea? I never got to meet with her."

"No problem, what do you want?"

"Uh. Couple of plaids, my Marilyn shirt, and my grey one, and all this shit you know," he stripped himself of all his rings and his black stone necklace and dumped them all into Lau's cupped hands.

"Shoes?"

"Uh, the 88s and, um, I don't know, the gym red 1s I guess."

Lau raised an eyebrow at the last one and a gave a quiet "huh" but nothing more. Those were...louder...than he expected Larry to want. Then again, he wouldn't be surprised if his twin was feeling a bit aggressive right now. Guess I better choose a plaid to match. Larry was not as experimental with his wardrobe as Laurent was. "Got it. Now go to sleep."

Larry nodded and stuck his earbuds into his ears as he walked to Lau's guest room. When he found himself walking across the place where he had found Lau those months ago, and intense feeling of need and love almost overwhelmed him. He told Lau how much he loved him all the time silently, but not often out loud. At the door Larry stopped and turned to look at his twin.

"Love you Lau," he said quietly. He watched as a grin spread across his brother's face and he couldn't help but grin back.

"I love you too Larry."

Laurent puttered around the apartment a while until he felt sure Larry was truly asleep. Definitely longer than 30 minutes, but he had been into the music pouring through his earbuds. Larry wanted to use it for some new choreo so he had been feeling it out for a few days. It was intense, the choreo would be fast and intricate, a lot to remember. And he was terrible at remembering choreo. As he walked to his room he remembered that he hadn't collected Larry's things, so he swung around on a heel and headed to his brother's flat.

When he got to the common area his ears picked up the sound of activity coming from Thea's apartment. Curiosity made him drift toward the stairs and away from Larry's place. He knew he needed to get everything done and get to sleep, but he heard Sarah's voice and could not make himself ignore it.

The sound of Thea's bold laughter climbed the stairs. She had a wonderful laugh, Larry loved it, he knew, but this time it made Laurent sad. He could tell she had been drinking, and considering their silent encounter earlier, he figured he knew why. It was out of character for her to indulge before travel or a performance day. He stood at the top of the stairs debating going to her and saying he was sorry intimidating her, she did not have to leave, she was always welcome. And all of that was true. For the most part. Truthfully, he had not wanted her there at that moment, he just wished it had happened differently.

"Alright, you're okay girl?" There was a smile in Sarah's voice, he could hear it.

"Oh yeah, totally okay. Just need to sleep, it's going to be an early morning and I can already tell I'm going to have a headache."

"Take some ibuprofen and get to bed! Safe travels tomorrow."

"Thanks Sarah."

Sarah's footsteps walked out of the apartment. Laurent's breath caught, he looked around, should he stay or go? When her steps paused he held his breath.

"Oh, hey, think it would be a problem for me to use the studio right now?"

"Of course you can, you've been using it for over a month."

"I just didn't want to wake anyone, you know?"

"It's soundproof, remember?" Thea laughed, "have a good night Sarah."

Sarah gave a small chuckle then headed to her apartment. Disappointment crept up on Laurent, he had wanted to see her in the studio...maybe even join her. With a huff he turned to go to Larry's flat and gather his things instead.
