Evil intentions (chapter 4)

Lily started shocked at the letter in her hand, tears streaming down her face, she swallowed and put it down beside the box.

She looked at the box in a new light now that she knows what exactly it contains; pieces of history.

She the took the dagger to examine it, and as she handled it she felt a hum like the first time she held her wand but this was a little weaker not as strong as her wand as if the the wand was telling her that she isn't her mistress but that she's willing to cooperate with her.

Lily was very confused then she found a wheel like craving on the handle that rose slightly higher than the rest of the well polished handle of the dagger as she pressed her index finger gently on it, it moved down like a button and suddenly she's holding the necklace instead.

She put it away for latter examination and looked more into the books in her mother's box.

She put them into two piles one that belonged to her grandmother and the other pile was the boiled her grandfather had.

She looked into the pile which contained the many tomes and curiously looked into them and picked out one small journal as she read she discovered that it indeed belonged to Salazar Slytherin, it talked about some rituals his mother told him about as she read more and more she became more absorbed in the book that she didn't release that it's 5 already and that James had just came back from his work.

" Lily! I'm back. How are you and the baby hope she didn't give you any trouble"
" I'm here James. "

" come James I have to show you something "
James sat beside his wife and looked at the piles of tomes and books and two pieces of jewelry that he never saw saw before.

"A few years ago before my parents death I got a package from my mother I didn't open it we had our NEWTs and I was already planning to join the order to fight in the war" Lily said in a shaky voice.

" I forgot all about it with everything going on, but now that I'm pregnant I thought about her a lot lately and today I remembered the box I never really opened" she sniffed.

" and I found this letter" she gave him the letter her hands shaking.

James was very concerned for his wife and curious he took the letter to read it. 

He frowned confused " Lily whatever language this letter is written in I don't understand it"
" I just wanted to make sure-"

" Make sure of what ?"

" James this letter is written in parseltongue "

James paled the only person known to be able to speak parseltongue is Voldemort.

" this letter, my mother wrote to me for when I open this box "

" your mum is a parselmouth ?"

" it will be easier if I tell you what the letter told me because i swear i didn't know about any of this before today "

" wait so you're a parselmouth too? "He said shocked.

"It seems so, listen my lily fire , ..."

"So you're a parselmouth from your mother's side and you're a descendantfrom Slytherin?
Are you alright? How are you taking it?" He asked concerned for his wife.
