On the day of the ritual up on Asgard was a very sad day for the god of mischief, even though the happy lights and enthusiastic music that filled the city disagreed.

This day is a day of celebration on Asgard. How can it not be when it's the memory of one of the greatest battles in the history of Asgard in which his grandfather Bor defeated the dark elves and put their world to peace.

But on this day also his youngest and only daughter was born.

This day brings a mixture of feelings to the young god. Happy memories of her cute laughter and happy innocent smiles ignorant of the dangers around her, Ignorant of the sneers and looks of disgust and repulsion that surrounded her.

Her birth was the day that that witch revealed her true colors. His so called wife and mother of his children tried to murder his daughter in such cold blood that not even the cruelest frost giant can manage to someone so innocent and pure as a one day old baby.

She was disgusted by her own daughter, for when she was born half of her was that of a normal baby and the other half was that of a decaying corpse. But he loved and adored all of her beautiful self nonetheless. And planned to take her to Asgard the next day so that the healers can see if she is hurting.

FLASHBACK:

Loki woke drenched in sweat from an ugly nightmare of his children ripped away from him, they were calling for him to come and save them but he wasn't able to move and inch as if under an immobilizing curse.
He shuddered just thinking about it.

As he looked at where his wife was all he saw was empty space. He had the urge to go and check on his children especially after that terrific nightmare.

He got out of the bed and went to the children's room and what he faced shocked him to the core that for a split second he thought that he was in that nightmare again.

His "wife" was standing right in front of his daughter's crib her back facing him and a dagger in her hand with a mocking silver gleam under the moon raised ready to strike his daughter and end her life.

He did it so fast he didn't heven think of what he's doing.

One second the dagger was in her hand and the next he was holding it in his.

"What. Do. You. Think. You're. Doing?" He asked in a hushed voice deadly calm and an icy edge to it.

He was seething. Mad. NO scratch That he is beyond that. He felt such rage and betrayal it's like he can't think straight anymore he was blinded by such rage he'd never felt before. 'No. control your rage, direct it.' he thought to himself taking a deep, deep breath he exhaled slowly as he strengthened his mental shields.

While his wife looked as calm as ever as she turned to him she even had the gal to look annoyed and put her hands on her hips.

She huffed "Oh come on don't pretend that your not disgusted by this and haven't thought of getting rid of it" she replied pointing at his precious daughter as if she's the most disgusting thing in the world.

He didn't reply and looked at her blankly.

"Look dear Loki we all know that you want to be powerful, to takeover Asgard. And I am the same I'm strong and want to be stronger. Think about it Fenrir can turn into a strong wolf and he's but a young cub now he's growing real fast. and Jörmungandr into a serpent which has a strong venom it kills instantly and he can always sneak on our enemies he can be the perfect spy. And for this freak what use will she be? A sick sister that the enemies can easily kidnap and use against us. We can kill her now and get rid of the weakness before it bites us in the back."
