10. my cool uber driver experience

Finally, the school day ended. 7 hours of boring classes have come to an end.

After the whole fiasco at the music rooms I packed up and headed for the library and from there to there to the rest of my classes.

Neither Jisoo or Lisa tried to talk to me after what happened.
My classes were duller without Jisoo distracting me from the curious gazes of the students surrounding me.

Maybe I shouldn't have gotten attached to Jisoo and Lisa this fast.

But Lisa reminded me of her and I couldn't help it.

I walked along the street, waiting for my über to arrive.

I didn't have my own driving license yet, my only choice was to über.

A red sports car finally showed up and parked right in front of me. The window rolled down to reveal the driver and then he asked: "You're Jennie?"

"Yupp." Was my only reply as I helped myself into the only other seat, the passenger seat.

Little did I know that getting into this car was probably something I'd regret forever.

The driver was young- maybe two or three years older than I was. He had blonde hair, green eyes with a little bit of gold and brown surrounding his iris and the most annoying voice I'd come across.

He talked about upcoming football matches and kept spouting out words about things that I wasn't interested in.

Even though I didn't give two flying fucks about what football player was the best or what team was definitely going to win, I gave him half of my attention.

The other half was scrolling down through memes on Instagram.

"-are you down?" He asked with a smile as he slowly stopped at a red light.

I wasn't paying attention to his last sentence. A post about a new BigBang album had distracted me.

"I'm sorry?" I asked him to repeat himself.

"The party. Are you down?" He repeated, still smiling.

Well, a party sounded nice. I wanted to dance until my feet hurt.

"When?" I looked back at him as the car started moving again.

"Friday." He replied, taking a sharp turn, "I'll pick you up."

It was my turn to smile.

I loved parties.

"Cool."
