The Seven Souls made their way to the living room. The smell of butterscotch-cinnamon pie drifted from the kitchen creating a calm atmosphere. The fireplace was burning, and beside was a soft comfortable-looking chair Toriel sat on, reading. The book cover read "72 Uses For Snails." Integrity coughed.

"Oh! Hello my children! Do you want anything?" The kids looked at each other uncomfortably. They together had decided that they can't stay forever, and must find a way to get out of the mountain.

"Is there any way to leave the Ruins?" Integrity asked, after an awkward silence. Toriel's expression shifted to a concerning  look and pretended not to hear her.

"Would you like to know what I'm reading? 72 Uses For Snails! Do you want to hear an interesting fact about snails?" Toriel asked, obviously trying to change the subject. No one said anything.

"Did you know, that snails don't have noses?" Toriel stated, looking for a response.

Everyone was uncomfortable, and fidgeting awkwardly. I wanted to get out of here, and I'm sure everyone else did too...but no one wanted to hurt Toriel's feelings.

But it's what we'd have to do later on, and we can't stay here forever.  I was filled with DETERMINATION.

"When can we go home, Toriel? When will we get to leave?" I asked, staring straight into her old, red eyes. When I looked, it was almost like I could see the pain she had. She looked away.

"Excuse me, children, I must do something." Toriel said quietly, and hurried off. When she left, everyone glared at me.

"Why'd you do that? You made her upset! We'll never get out of here now!" Justice cried. I ignored her.

"C'mon, guys, she went downstairs. Let's go." I said, gesturing to the stairs. Patience and Kindness looked down at their feet.

"I'm not sure, what if she just wants to protect us? " Kindness said, while Patience held onto his apron. I sighed.

"We will never get out of here if we just SIT BACK AND DO ANYTHING!" I was mad no one understood. Bravery followed me.

"She's right guys. Don't you want to see your family again?" Patience looked at Kindness, and they both stepped forward. Even Justice calmed down and came forward with Integrity.

Perseverance stayed. He had been quiet all morning.

"I have no family to look forward too. I like it here, having a mom I never could have!" He said quietly. Everyone went silent, not knowing about his past.

"You guys should go without me...Don't let me hold you back." Perseverance looked away.

"WAIT!" Integrity cried, holding out her hand.

"What about your brother?"

Perseverance's head turned, and glared at Integrity. Then, it was if he realized something, and his gaze softened.

He sighed and made his way towards the group.

"Please...don't talk about him. I'll...just don't bother me. "

Everyone felt uncomfortable and just decided to go downstairs.

(I'm sorry that sucked i have no clue how to make him go already. STOP BEING SO DAMN RESISTANT)

The basement was all purple, with a long, thin hallway. The Seven Soul's made their way to the end, but an old goat stood in their way.

"Ahead of us lies the end of the Ruins. I am going to destroy it." Justice looked stunned.
