"Oh wow!" Integrity cried. I slowly opened my eyes, to reveal the lamp on and Integrity standing beside the dresser hopping up and down. I sat up and yawned, rubbing my eyes.

"Look, look, look! It's ~PIE~" Integrity said. I giggled at her enthusiasm. The others slowly awoke, yawning and looking like they had a nice sleep. I wouldn't tell them about the dream-they didn't need to know.

I stood up, helping Perseverance up. We all peered over the plate, which on top stood a delicious butterscotch-cinnamon pie. It was slightly cold, probably snuck in late at night. Nerveless, it smelled amazing. It was cut into 7 thick slices, each with a small tower of whipped cream. Beside the plate, was 7 forks and plates in a pile. It was then I realized-

I HADN'T EATEN SINCE I LEFT THE HOTEL!

I quickly grabbed the silver fork and a plate. I grabbed a slice and sat down on the carpet, digging into the dessert. Everyone stared at me, before grabbing their own and sitting around the carpet. We all enjoyed the pie, talking and laughing. If someone were to pass us-they would have thought we were all friends. But that's crazy, we were forced to work together. Falling down, we had no choice. We couldn't even trust each other. Could we?

Friends. Huh.

Randomly, Integrity burst out.

"OKAY! I know this sounds crazy, buteversincewefelldownthemountainI'vebeenthinkingwe'vebeenlikeateam!" We all stared at her with confusion. She talked so fast-did anyone hear her?

"Y-yeah! actually, me too! We should..." Patience began, but then trailed off when she realized we all were staring at her. "You actually understood that?" Bravery asked. Patience nodded.

"She said that ever since we fell down the mountain she's been thinking we've been like a team. I have, too, actually." Patience translated.

"We should TOTALLY have a team name!" Integrity squealed. Then everyone turned to look at me. They were looking for advice-to see what we should name ourselves.

"Er-I'll take suggestions...?" I said, sounding more like a question. They thought to themselves.

"How about Awesome-People?" Bravery asked. "Ribbons?" Patience suggested timidly.

"How about Dancer's Delight?"

"Isn't that a song? What about Mathletes?"

"Pfff, nerd! No way!"

"Cool Cookers?"

"More like CRAPPY Cookers!"

"That's so mean! What about Dangerous Dancers?"

"I don't dance..."

"You should! It's not my problem..."

"Oh look who's being mean now!"

"SHUT UP!" Justice shouted, catching everyone by surprise. She looked mad. "You guys are fighting about something STUPID! You guys are acting like KINDERGARTENS, and I'm pretty sure you had to be at least 10 to climb the mountain!"

"Hey guys-whats that?" I asked, pointing across from us.

"AHHHHH!!!!!" The author screamed as she ran across the group.

"What the...." Bravery questioned as she ran.

Following behind her were terrifying monsters-but not any from the Underground! They were Depression, School, Work, Anxiety, and The Horrible Feeling Of Having A Story That No One Reads!

But there were no Ideas...

We all looked at each other in confusion and discomfort.

"Let's...pretend this never happened. Why don't we just call ourselves the Seven Souls."

We all shrugged. Sounded good enough. Then we talked calmly, forgetting about the author's problems.

SORRY! I have been SUPER busy with school! I'm also worried about this story, since it's not doing well AT ALL! BUT it's okay-since someone might read it in a few years...

or i'll remain lonely and a disappointment...:'(
