•Colby's PoV•

It's been a week since I found myself waking up in the popular kids bedroom.

Not that anything's changed.

I'm still pushed around like trash.

No one notices me.

I'm alone in the library again

But on the bright side my dad hasn't been home lately so I've been able to sleep in my own bed.

The only thing that had changed the slightest is Lilly.

She was happier now.

She and McKenzie both got on the cheer squad.

She socialises more.

Even though that means I'm alone more.

I'm used to it though.

We're still close don't get me wrong.

It's just something feels off and I don't know what.

Anyway.

It's lunch and once again I'm in the library alone.

I have my headphones in and I'm silently reading.

That's when I felt another presence in the usually uninhabited room.

I heard the ancient librarians muffled and scratchy voice over my music.

I look up to see an all to familiar face browsing the autobiography section.

I quickly flick my eyes back down to my book.

I keep my eyes down before slowly looking back up and watching the boy carelessly browse through the books.

I watched the way he moved his fingers along the spines of the books looking thoroughly at the titles as if he was giving each one a chance.

Occasionally he was stop and pull a book out and quickly skim through the blurb before shaking his head slightly and putting it back.

I'm snapped out of my trance when an all to familiar girl wraps her arms around my neck.

"Afternoon!"

She said smiling before letting me go and sitting opposite me.

I smile at my only friend before chuckling and slightly praying she didn't see me staring.

"Why hello to you to Lilly."

She has her long brown and blonde hair pulled back into a tight pony tail and her hazel eyes were sparkling like a kid at Christmas.

She was waring a cliche short red and white skirt and a red and white crop top with our schools logo on it.

A cheerleading outfit.

"Sooooooo."

She said holding the o and battering her eyelashes at me.

Something was up.

"What do you want?"

I ask raising an eyebrow and making paws with my jacket.

"Can a girl not say hi to her best friend without being accused."

She said fake gasping and bringing her hand up to her heart.

That's when I sense an all to familiar pair of striking blue eyes piercing into my back.

"No but you want something."

I say trying to ignore him but feeling extremely uncomfortable at the same time.

"You know me so well! Oh and did you know your my best friend?!"

She said smiling ear to ear.

"Get to the point."

I say pulling both headphones out and wrapping them around my phone.

"So there's this party tonight and-"

"No! Nope! No! Absolutely not! And no!"

"You don't even know what I was going to ask."

She says battering her eyelashes making me sigh .

"Yeah but there's a party involved and when there's a party I'm not there."

"But whyyyyyyy?"

He winged.

"Because party's mean drugs, wasted teenagers, sometimes police, and worse of all people."

I say doing mini jazz hands and earning a sigh from her.

"But I really want to go. And my mum won't let me go unless your there because she trusts you. Plus this is our last year of high school and you haven't gone to a single party. I want you to socialise make more friends make memories. Come on. Please!"

"No."

"Please."

"Absolutely not."

"Fine but I'm going anyway and I'm getting drunk and your the only friend I have that drives. So when I'm at a random strangers house or in the hospital I have you to blame."

She sighs and looks at the floor.

"Fine."

I say reluctantly.

"You kno- what what?"

"I said fine."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"You sure?"

"I said yes and take it before I change my mind."

She smiled and squealed before getting up and engulfing me into a hug.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank yooooou!"

I smiled slightly an awkwardly patted her on the back.

"I gotta go to practice but be at my house at 8!"

She said before running off.

I sighed and put my book back in my bag.

I put my headphones in and got up and went to walk to next lesson wanting to be there early so I could get the seat at the back of the class.

I open the door still feeling those striking blue eyes on me.

The magical eyes of Spenser James.
