shawn had just finished playing in his all star game. he did absolutely amazing, and i cheered him on the whole time. (hoping not to embarrass him.) shawn played for the la dodgers, so he was on the national league team. they gladly won, and shawn had hit a home run. "when is he gonna do it jenalee? he needs to propose all ready!" exclaimed ellen. she was clayton kershaw's wife, he played with shawn. i giggled, my cheeks turned a shade of pink. "we're happy the way we are now, at least i think." we laugh in unison. "speaking of you two, there's shawn!" i turn around to see my boy walking towards me. he had put on some basketball shorts and a dodgers sweatshirt, making him look cozy. i stood right up and headed over to him. "hey babe!" i pecked his lips. "hey princess." he kisses my cheek. "you did so amazing, shawn. you're a real stud." i look up into his green eyes, staring at the masterpiece in front of me. "thanks love, but that's because i had my biggest fan supporting me in the stands." he wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me in. "and that was my dad." he jokes whispering into my ear. i chuckle. "oh, hey ellen." he says looking at her. she greets him back. "okay jen, stay right here babe. i'll be back." he smirks as he walks back into the clubhouse. "wonder what he's doing." i said to ellen. she hid a smirk on her face making me even more curious. after chatting with ellen and marianna, kiké's wife, i saw shawn coming out onto the field. me and the wives were the only ones in the stands, but shawn and some of his teammates were on the foul line of the field. the lights shut off and my stomach started to flutter, what was going on? in a flash, candles lit up on the field. we read them aloud. "will you marry me?" as tears started flooding me eyes, shawn came onto the field. he got down on one knee with a ring in his hands. "jen, i don't know where to start. but i'll say this, ever since we've met, i haven't been the same. it's something i can't explain. it's absolutely incredible when you find your soulmate, and finding you is something i'll never forget, because you're my soulmate and i want to spend forever with you. grow old with you. i want to start a family with you and be with the girl i love. jenalee ava johnson, will you marry me?" i shot straight up from my seat, my voice was very hoarse from crying. "yes shawn, of course!" i sobbed as i ran into the field. i ran into shawn's arms, which were wide open. he spun me around in a hug, and whispered in my ear, "you're my girl. forever. how did i get so lucky to have you? damn. all mine." he kisses my forehead then goes for my lips. we kiss passionately as you hear everyone's screams and cheering. we pulled away and smiled at them, they all looked so happy for us.
